When we moved to Xenfora some of the signature options didn't come over. In the old software signatures were limited by a character limit, on Xenfora there are more options and there is a character number and number of lines limit. I've set maximum number of lines to 4 and unlimited characters.

The Church of Scientology appears to be involved in an effort to woo officers from the City of London police - an unlikely partnership perhaps, but one that seems to be blossoming. Details of how more than 20 officers, from constables to chief superintendents, have been invited to a series of engagements by the scientologists over the last 15 months have been revealed by a freedom of information inquiry by the Guardian.

I find it hard to see this as good...

Good on the Guardian for following this up.

Urgh, at least they're not ruling the world already - a scientologist kept telling me in the '90s that there'd be a huge surge in numbers in 2000, when they'd start "really making a difference."

Keep in mind that being critical of $cientology does not imply that I am not critical of mainstream churches.

What they all have in common is belief in some utterly woo ideas.

$cientology differs in that they went for church-hood only to maximize profits, and for that they are no less damnable than so-called mainstream churches. They are all bogus and deserving of our derision.
