When we moved to Xenfora some of the signature options didn't come over. In the old software signatures were limited by a character limit, on Xenfora there are more options and there is a character number and number of lines limit. I've set maximum number of lines to 4 and unlimited characters.

Eventually someone here is going to post a thread about the so-called "Science Tarot" I personally have some mixed feelings about it. For one thing there's a Carl Sagan card which some might see as being in poor taste. I just want to get some other member's thoughts on this one.

Personally I'm indifferent.

How the cards are used is what matters. If they are used for entertainment, great. Whatever floats your boat. If they are used to con credulous people out of large amounts of money, I would be against that.

The cards themselves are beautiful. I wouldn't mind myself having a copy. However in an educational setting, I can't see them as being useful and may even be counter productive.

Yeah that's a bit odd, but I have to agree with Puppycow. If someone purchased the deck for entertainment value or in admiration of the art quality, then I don't see it as being a bad thing.

Who came up with this stupid idea in the first place? I guess it was for fun, but it just seems like a waste of time to me. By the way, I found the Carl Sagan card, so here it is:

They don't plan on selling them?

I read Tarot myself - as a game. It would be sun to have a set like this. I used to have a pack of dragons, but they all got lost or destroyed. Plus, they were way too big. I wonder what they used for the Tower, and the Lovers?

I don't see the Carl Sagan card being in poor taste. After all, one can tell stories and have them be non-fiction.

Agreed, the artwork looks good, but personally I would not associate Schroedinger's cat with the "wheel of fortune ' as used in the original Tarot card deck, unless the box that Schroedinger's cat is locked up in is the "wheel of fortune",I have a slight problem with that. Why not just leave the card as "10 Schroedinger's cat".
