When we moved to Xenfora some of the signature options didn't come over. In the old software signatures were limited by a character limit, on Xenfora there are more options and there is a character number and number of lines limit. I've set maximum number of lines to 4 and unlimited characters.

I just wanted to invite everyone to listen to Podcast Beyond Belief, a science-based parenting resource for freethinking families.

Our free weekly podcast is affiliated with Foundation Beyond Belief, a non-profit organization designed to educate secular humanist families and focus their charitable giving. Each week, we cover science-based parenting news, interview guests, and answer listeners' questions in a segment called "The FAQ". The questions are forwarded on to experts and we report their answers.

The hosts are a good mix of moms and dads. I'm joined by my co-blogging fathers from Sciencebasedparenting.com, as well as mom bloggers from rationalmoms.com, skepchick.org, and shethought.com.

Our first episode is available on itunes now. We interviewed Dale McGowan, author of Parenting Beyond Belief and founder of our "parent" organization, Foundation Beyond Belief. Our second episode will feature an interview with John Flansburgh from They Might Be Giants.

We are new to podcasting, so it's a little rough around the edges. We expect that we'll continue to evolve as we create new episodes.

If you have any parenting questions for "The FAQ" please send them to podcastbeyondbelief@gmail.com.

Thanks,

Colin

"Secular humanist families?" "Their charitable giving?" Sorry, pal, but what I've been told is that secular humanists can't have families because the women are all sterile because of having had multiple abortions and the men are either sterile because of all the pot they smoke or are just gay. And I've heard that only Christians give to charities and secular humanists want charities supported by government handouts. :D

Colin,
Subscribed and I've been listening. I like it! A very worthwhile addition to the pantheon of skeptical podcasts. Thanks.
