When we moved to Xenfora some of the signature options didn't come over. In the old software signatures were limited by a character limit, on Xenfora there are more options and there is a character number and number of lines limit. I've set maximum number of lines to 4 and unlimited characters.

Our Amazing Randi has made it into poetry. Into the Missouri poet laureate's poetry at that. I mustn't post the poem as I know it is under copyright. But, here is the URL. Meanwhile, I'll send it to Randi privately. I am sure that is "legal".

Of course, I am guessing that this is Randi. Could there be more than one who reveals the tricks of psychics?

Well, since "James 'The Amazing' Randi" is referred to by name, who else could it be? :)

I'm sure it's OK to quote that line:

I've never knowingly closed a deal, taken a meeting, or done lunch -
although, make no mistake, I've had lunches done to me,
but my most rewarding lunch was far from work: a dressed‑to‑kill
cheeseburger with James "The Amazing" Randi who showed me up close, once
and for all, exactly how the so‑called psychics bend those easy spoons.

The only problem is that this is going to have me back at Barnes & Noble just when I'd promised myself I'd stay away for a while. I like David Clewell's style and absolutely must have at least one of his book to add to my collection.

I love it. I think I'll add one of David Clewell's books to my current list of purchases. :)

@ Amazon.com
(how to buy through the JREF link); here's its Google_books preview: (i like this ironic tribute to Nostradamus).

What a great find, Hazel :) (has an easy, stream-of-consciousness prose style; not unlike our very own "quarky" - a little longer-winded, perhaps - if you're a fan of his offbeat posts, as I am). Thanks! :book:

Thanks. I am just asking for him by name now. I know he has written five books at least. I should luck out with one.

And, today, I discovered that there is a alliance of small, family-owned book stores in St Louis. Found my first one at Galleria - Sues News. A very nice little store. Good news that is. Left Bank is in the alliance. I've not looked to see what else. She did say there is one in Kirkwood and one in Webster Groves. So good to know there are still family-owned book stores in business.

Well, that's St. Louis. Maybe other cities have the same. Thanks again.
