NOAA's Dive on USS Yorktown, and Survey of Hangar Deck

With all the craziness in the news, I missed this story:

Mission to USS Yorktown: Dive Highlights: Beyond the Blue: Papahānaumokuākea ROV and Mapping (EX2503): NOAA Ocean Exploration

They surveyed Yorktown a few years back, but this time they sent ROVs inside. And paid off! Great pictures of hand-painted murals, a 1940 Ford Super Woody, and a couple of Dauntless dive bombers, one with a bomb still mounted.

So if you like Marine Science and WWII and big old ships -check it out.
