When we moved to Xenfora some of the signature options didn't come over. In the old software signatures were limited by a character limit, on Xenfora there are more options and there is a character number and number of lines limit. I've set maximum number of lines to 4 and unlimited characters.

I've rented out my old condo for the last 5 years to a really conscientious couple. They never miss a rent payment and always pay early. Just got an email that they are in England where she was trying to swim the Channel and won't be back until next week. Her July payment would be maybe 7 days late by then. She offered to pay now by Venmo, but I emailed her to just send the check next week. I knew she was athletic but wow.

I think I've been really lucky.

People complain about landlords and landlords complain about tenants a lot in California, but I must say I've never seen any of that. Never had problems when I was a tenant either in my early career.

Just thought I'd say thanks to all the good people out there.

Our experience has been mixed but mostly positive.

We've always been paid but one set of tenants caused more fuss and bother in one year than the other three sets did in eleven.

We're now selling the flat because we can get significantly more money for zero hassle by putting the proceeds in an annuity or similar financial product.

Sorry, I prefer to scam myself into a good apartment, then proceed to be the worst tenant I can legally be until the landlord can finally throw me out. It's much more fun.

I rented my cabin to a young man who seemed perfect. He was the manager of a large plant nursery that was popular.

Uh - yeah. I was a young single mother with no business sense. Within a few weeks he proved to be an alcoholic who lost his job for being drunk, had a DUI and his truck repossessed..

But I also had some great tenants, but never again!

We have a small house we rent out to dental students. We live within walking distance of the dental college so it's a natural fit. Every 4 years we get a new tenant/s. We offer a deal if they pay the years rent in one or two installments, one on January and the other in July. They are great about giving me a new selection of potential new tenants as they get close to graduation too. We've had a half dozen students rent from us and never really had a problem one.
