The MyPillow CEO is auctioning off company equipment after major retailers such as Walmart dropped his products due to his wild election conspiracy theories.

“It was a massive, massive cancellation,” Lindell told the Minneapolis Star Tribune. “We lost $100 million from attacks by the box stores, the shopping networks, the shopping channels, all of them did cancel culture on us.”

As a result, bargain hunters in the Minneapolis area have a chance to bid on MyPillow equipment including trucks, forklifts, air compressors, sewing machines, computers and more.

Ripping off Lindell when he was riding high was easy, but the real hustlers and go-getters can still find a way to fleece Mike at least a few more times before it's all over. Kiss the poster of Frank Social for good luck and leave it all out there on the court, now is the time for legends.

But I always have to laugh when people lament that they're being "canceled" when they face the expected consequences of their egregious behavior. Lindell wants to be outrageous and in-your-face and thereby continue to feel important, and then whine when it comes back to bite him. I feel bad for all the people he's going to have to lay off because of his ego.
 
Walmart is NOT dropping him because of his nutjob beliefs. Walmart is dropping him because people aren't buy his pillows. They don't care about what that coke-head does. They care that they have inventory and shelf space that's not making money.

Those people made the retailers not buy lumpy pillows.

Anyone else notice that he holds fast to his precious POV being the default truth? The rest are the problem.

If anything him being a right wing ideologue is probably helping his business more than hurting. His pillows are nothing special, just overpriced foam bricks that took off because of a bafflingly successful marketing campaign. Even if he hadn't stuck his dick in the proverbial electrical outlet by going mask-off insane, I really doubt that MyPillow mania would have continued on indefinitely.

Major vendors would have found ways to cut him out and use cheaper suppliers. Generics would increasingly eat into his profits and push him off the shelves. It's a foam pillow for Christ's sake, it's a commodity item and eventually vendors and the buying public would have realized that the MyPillow premium wasn't worth it.

Right wingers who see buying his overpriced pillow as some kind of act of virtue is a decent business niche if he can adjust his expectations.

I assume that MyPillow was already going down even before he tied his fate to a Trump election win.
Winning the election retroactively was the hail-marry that was going to catapult Lindell from a failed businessman to a Trump confidante, living in luxury in Mar-a-Lago for the rest of his life - snorting drugs of course. Don jr. has more than he needs.

Mike Lindell's MyPillow is getting evicted from one of its Minnesota warehouses...MyPillow owes First Industrial more than $217,000 in rent and other charges, per court filings seen by the Star Tribune. It is unclear if MyPillow and its staff have fully vacated the premises, but First Industrial's representatives say they have sent at least four eviction notices to MyPillow since September.

(The company claims the warehouse is unused, and had been subletting it. Still, says a lot if they would actually get to the point of getting evicted.)
 
My Pillow Always was a rip off. The pillows you can buy at Target are just as good and cost a lot less.
 
Someone showed me a video today of Lindell at the DNC Convention, supposedly undercover as a reporter. He was talking to some kid who is apparently some kind of up-and-coming influencer and trying to gaslight him all about his election fraud claims. Amazingly the kid stuck to his guns and just kept asking for details and proof, which Lindell refused to provide.

Hell- why didn't the guy just shave his moustache into a full on 'Hitler brush' and put on a black stormtroopers uniform???

Talk about being blatantly 'in your face' about it...

If by "limit" you mean "completely eliminate." There was a sad day a few weeks ago when literally every outreach program at every public school that wasn't aimed at white, straight people closed its doors. Some of these had been operating on their respective campuses for decades and were serving many students. Similarly, expressions of acceptance and welcome for non-white, non-straight people in government service locations were removed.

But this is probably not what is being referred to. The 14.88 price is a pretty obvious white supremacy dog whistle, but I'm not having any more luck than anyone else finding out what 277 or R277 might mean (if anything).

R277 is our administrative law that deals with all aspects of public education, including such trivialities as how to organize the school buses and determine teacher salaries. It's gigantic and sweeping, which makes it still somewhat tenuous as a reference for one particular aspect of it.

The Twitter summary addresses Utah Admin. Code § 277-328-3(2), but "inclusion" is limited to people with disabilities. In contrast, § 277-328-3(3) outlines prohibitions against any instruction based on "personal identity characteristics." This in turn comes from H.B. 261 enacted this year, which adds Utah Code § 53B-1-118. This law provides the language you find in the administrative code.

But the law goes much further in prohibiting many inclusive activities in public institutions that have nothing to do with instruction. Specifically it forbids any state entity from having any sort of office that promotes inclusion or equity on the basis of "personal identity characteristics," and any employer from mandating training that mentions those characteristics.

It's undeniable that Utah Admin. Code § 277-328-3(3) is something white supremacists want. If the promo code R277 is meant to refer to that section, that's what it would be. But there's far more in the law that appeals to white supremacists, and it's Utah Code § 53B-1-118, not R277, that obliterated all our diversity programs, offices, training, and efforts statewide.

He is a has been, and Trump has no interest in him.
 
Indeed, Lindell tanked his company and Donald Trump mooted his political effort by getting himself legitimately elected again. The ongoing value in proving the 2020 election was stolen is limited. I guess Lindell will have to go find something else for his life to be about.
 
Maybe as a reward for his loyalty, Trump will share some of the wealth he'll accumulate this term? I almost made it to the end of that without laughing
 
I was about to write something half silly and half insulting. there is thread on twitter claiming that Trump cheated but i think it is time now to allow the process to go on and if you go around saying Trump cheated you no better than the extremists in Trump camp,
