My Conversation with Prof. Jim Fetzer

Fetzer - "have you watched "This is an orange"
yet? "

Looks like a lemon to me,more yellow :) than orange

listening to the howard hughs interview he claims there were six shootng teams present at dealy plaza in 1963!!
:jaw-dropp
he must have a lot of toys in the attic!

does anyone know whats wrong with his neck?

is it a goiter or a cojoined twin perhaps?

Sorry I decided to stop reading after Fetzer's delusional reasoning concerning Silverstein's "pull it" comment.

Like others, I suspect he is mentally ill. No surprise others of the same ilk are in this thread defending his blunders.

Based on the logic of the 1st video dolphins must be fish and salamanders must be lizards because they resemble each other.

As for his JFK theories even amoung assassination researchers he is considered a bit of a nut. he even aknowledged that he is considered persona non grata at many events, he believes that that every image of the assassination was altered.

I posted some of the statements and names that Jim Fetzer addressed me as in an exchange of e-mails.

LOL – I could have predicted how that was going to turn out I first started debating Fetzer about the Wellstone Crash in 2005 before he went full-fledged truther. His MO is to call anyone who disagrees with him mentally impaired or failing that a very clever ‘disinfo agent’. He 1st labeled me the former then the latter but sometimes reverts to the former or calls me both. Due to such tactics I coined the verb ‘(to) fetzer’ but I also like the noun which someone else came up with.

He does have a massively inflated ego which he constantly strokes. He repeatedly claims that he is an “distinguished scholar” and once added: “I know of no faculty member anywhere whose combination of achievements exceeds my own!” this despite the fact he was let go by the lowly ranked U. of Kentucky spent almost 20 years before he finally got tenure then only doing so at a middling school (U. of Minn. DULUTH). This not meant as a put down of people teach at such schools - I know it isn't easy to get tenure anywhere let alone at 'elite' schools - but I doubt many of them would go around claiming they are one of America’s (or perhaps the world’s) most accomplished academics. He does have a habit of tossing around his doctorate trying to prove his case; he even tried to use his co-author’s Ed.D. to beef-up his Wellstone book. Amazingly even when well into his 60s he continued to boast about an award he got from his high school. He continues to brag about an award he got for junior professors well after his retirement.

The issue of Holocaust denial came up and as has already been pointed he says he thinks the numbers have been exaggerated and frequently associates with Holocaust deniers. If anyone raises an objection he whines about guilt by association and asks how that invalidates their “research” on other issues. But he engages in the same tactics himself. One of his arguments for suspecting the NTSB’s Wellstone crash report was that the head of the agency had once (apparently briefly when she was young) been in the CIA), that she supposedly was Bush appointee and led the investigation of the Carnahan crash. He continued to advance such arguments even after I pointed out that the latter two were contradictions because Carnahan died when Clinton was POTUS.

But I digress, besides flirting with Holocaust denial and deniers he heartily endorsed a book which promoted a Mein Kampf like take on early 20th century history the Joooz (aka “Zionists”) were responsible for WWI & II etc.

But back to some of the 9/11 issues here:

FETZER: “Just one question. Since gravity works in one direction (down), how can the
destruction of the towers result from a gravitational collapse when they are
blowing apart in every direction,”

This is hilarious since toofers (including ‘Fetz’ IIRC) normally complain the buildings collapsed into ‘the path of greatest resistance’

SEAN/BRASS: “As for your Larry Silverstein response, I've seen many videos of firefighters saying that they were ready to "pull it" which they clarified "it" as the last remaining firefighting brigade in the building”

I believe you were mistaken about that, though I’ve seen many instances of “pull(ed) us”, “pull back” but never “pull it” not even Gravy found any such instances.

You can call him insane or a shill or whatever, an idiot this man is not. And he doesn't suffer idiots lightly.
Fetzer:"I regard Judy as one of the best qualified students of 9/11 in the world today. A former professor of mechanical engineering, she introduced her theory that directed energy weapons may have been employed on 9/11 during during our conversation on the radio. I found her conjecture fascinating because it opens up an unconventional approach toward understanding the events of 9/11."
Here is Fetzer suffering an idiot with praise.
an idiot this man is not
? Really?

Fetzer says - The hologram hypothesis to explain video fakery in the footage of Flight 175 hitting the South Tower—where the plane is traveling at an impossible speed, entering the building in clear violation of Newton’s laws, and passes through its own length into the building in the same number of frames it takes to pass through its own length in air
His statements make a good case for being an... Idiot, or Insane, take your pick.

Fetzer is the idiot who never stops making up stuff you expect from an idiot - he the class clown, the BS artist who makes money selling nonsense about JFK, and 911, in book form.

Well said. I'm so tempted to also make a book of the all the yahoos I've debated with on YouTube about 9/11. Now THAT is entertainment.

Sane, smart, honest and Fetzer... only three of those can go together.

One of his last gems should be enough to make up your mind about him, it doesn't require any special knowledge to see the inherent contradiction.

http://presstv.com/detail/220979.html

"There are major indications that the vessel of choice is to be the USS Vincennes. The fourth USS Vincennes (CG-49) is a US Navy Ticonderoga class Aegis guided missile cruiser. On July 3, 1988, the ship shot down Iran Air Flight 655 over the Persian Gulf, killing all 290 civilian passengers on board, including 38 non-Iranians and 66 children.

This would be an ideal vessel for the staged provocation as it could be easily sold to the world as having been Iranian retribution for the 1988 downing of Flight 655. That way the evident lack of motive for Iran to provoke the US and Israeli military will be replaced by a perceived “motive.” No one will stop to ask themselves why Iran would thereby engage itself in a major war.

If we were to believe the Wikipedia version of history the Vincennes has already been scrapped. The Wikipedia article for the Vincennes states, “The Vincennes was completely scrapped by 23 November 2011.” If that were true it could not be used as the target of this “false-flag” attack. Yet we have photographic and testimonial evidence suggesting otherwise."

Isn't it amazing how Fetzer sees no problem with the Government first claiming that the Vincennes was scrapped and then (in his scenario) claiming it was attacked by Iran?

Fetzer seems to have a thing about zooper-zeecret directed-energy capabilities. Doesn't he also contend that Seator Wellstone's plane was brought down by such weaponry?

The man's a Jack Of All Trades when it comes to science. I like the word "polymirth" when describing him.

More proof. of Uncle Jims intellectual laziness.....

THIS article has remained in place, uncorrected, for many months despite his huge gaffe being pointed out to him.

I had a little fun about it all with Fetzer on his mailing list (as "scepdio") a while ago. I soon got fed up with toying with him there, his appeals to (his own) authority are a bit wearing on the soul after a while.

One need look no further than Fetzer's opus on program verification, written in 1988, for ample evidence of his massive incompetency. It represents possibly the most hilarious example of a complete misunderstanding of basic computational theory ever put to paper(regardless of which side of the verification debate one happens to come down on).

Fetzer is a self-important and clownish buffoon.

"Have you seen 'This is an Orange.'" - Fetzer response to everything.

.
It's not all that massive, it's not the ego that he inflates, and if he doesn't stop it he's going to go blind.

Just sayin'
