Merged Missing children, fugitive parents, and drive-by shootings/Lori Vallow in court.

Does anyone know how much contact The Monster and her lover are allowed?

She said:

Before her sentencing, Lori Vallow addressed the court claiming that a near death experience allowed her to communicate with the “spirit world.”

She told the judge that she knew “for a fact” that her children and Tammy Daybell were happy in heaven. Tylee and Joshua have communicated with her that they are happy after their deaths, Lori Vallow said.

“Jesus knows me and Jesus understands me,” she said. “I mourn with all of you who mourn my children and Tammy. Jesus Christ knows the truth of what happened here, Jesus Christ knows no one was murdered in this case. Accidental deaths happen, suicides happen, fatal side effects from medications happen.”

STFU you raving, sociopathic ****.

Next up, that Chad ************.

latent fingermarks from Alex Cox

"The biggest news out of Thursday’s testimony came when an analyst announced that a latent fingerprint from Alex Cox, Lori’s late brother, was found on evidence from JJ’s body. Cox’s latent fingerprint from his pinky and a palm print from his right hand matched prints left on a black plastic bag wrapped around JJ." KSL radio

Alex Cox

The Independent stated, "Curiously – perhaps tellingly – neither side chose to point the finger at the easy target, that is the third alleged accomplice Cox. At the one co-conspirator who cannot defend himself. Who cannot tell his side of the story."

There is fingermark evidence against Mr. Cox (see my previous comment), and there is cell phone evidence against him. Rachel Sharp's point above is intriguing, but there was a hair from Lori Vallow that was attached to adhesive.

Vox wrote, "Vallow has previously blamed it all on Cox; she claims her children died in Cox’s apartment and neither she nor Daybell had anything to do with it. While Alex Cox makes a convenient scapegoat, however, his motive for murder is nothing without Vallow herself. This might be why Vallow’s lawyers ultimately chose not to mount a defense on her behalf apart from cross-examining prosecution witnesses."

It's too bad Cox isn't around; perhaps the prosecution might have offered him a deal to save his neck and we might have some semblance of the real story, the whole story.

On the other hand, I'm fine with the fact that this vile ****** is dead.

I just stumbled on to this. The Chad Daybell trial has been going on for the past few weeks.

Remember how his first wife just turned up dead for no apparent reason?
Yeah, turns out, there WAS a reason.

The man who performed the autopsy on Tammy Daybell showed jurors photos of the procedure and spoke on Wednesday about what he saw that made him think she died by homicide.

Dr. Erik Christensen, who recently retired as Utah's chief medical examiner, performed the autopsy on Tammy Daybell. He determined her cause of death was asphyxia, or not getting enough oxygen, and the manner of death was homicide....

...For Tammy Daybell, Christensen said there were only a few things that could explain the death and they believe it was "some form of strangulation."

We already know Chad was a real 'hands on', kind of guy.

That would seem to close the book for the most part; barring some kind of procedural bombshell I'm not expecting the appeals to go anywhere. As long as it took, I feel like justice was done in this case, and it always feels good to see that happen. Perhaps especially with these two, as it seemed they were so brazen even after effectively having been found out.

The jury will hear additional testimony to determine if Daybell will be sentenced to death. The penalty phase is supposed to begin today.

He got it.

Chad Daybell was sentenced to death on Saturday in a triple murder case, nearly a year after his second wife, Lori Vallow Daybell, was convicted and sentenced to life in prison.

Daybell was convicted of first-degree murder of his first wife, Tammy Daybell, and two of his then-girlfriend Lori Vallow's children, Joshua "JJ" Vallow and Tylee Ryan, as well as for conspiracy in the murders and of insurance fraud.

Lori Vallow Daybell was convicted of murder in their three deaths last year and was sentenced to life in prison without parole.

Can't say I'm sorry, because I'm not.
Pity Lori can't join him as far as I'm concerned.
Maybe Arizona will make that possible.

Out of everything, I found this amusing...
The jury that convicted Chad Daybell also deliberated on his sentence for the capital charges. Judge Steven Boyce, who presided over both Daybell and Vallow Daybell's Idaho trials, said Thursday he will be sentenced on the insurance fraud charges at a later date.

I mean, you're already going to kill him, how much worse can any other sentence be?

Lori, acting as her own attorney*, decides to argue with the judge and gets removed from court.
When you're already serving three life sentences for murder what have you got to lose?

* I assume everyone knows the expression.
