Merged Missing children, fugitive parents, and drive-by shootings/Lori Vallow in court.

. . . Bwahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!

That being laughed, I wonder what they have on her?

Interesting question. Likely, most here suspected that Lori had some hand in it
But there would be no charge if they had nothing at all.

My first guess would be text messages. It takes time for the wheels of justice to turn. Going to a judge and getting a subpoena to get documents, then going over them, one at a time, searching for that one useful, "smoking gun", doesn't happen over night. Glad to see they are slowly coming down on her like a herd of turds. Hope it piles up to a point of no escape.

I know a lot of folks don't like YT videos, but this one from East Idaho News has a ton of new info concerning the new charges.

Vallow and Daybell are pretty ******* stupid.*

And Alex Cox was a vile weirdo.

*They're vile too!

Idaho prosecutors to seek death penalty for Chad Daybell.

Prosecutors in Idaho announced Thursday they filed a notice of intention to seek the death penalty against Chad Daybell.

Chad Daybell and his wife Lori Vallow Daybell were charged with multiple felonies in May. The couple faces murder and conspiracy charges connected to the deaths of Vallow Daybell's children, Tylee, JJ and Chad's first wife Tammy Daybell.

A spokesperson for the prosecutors handling the case in Idaho released the following statement, in part:

"Our process in making this determination was lengthy and comprehensive. We conferred with those immediate family members of JJ Vallow, Tylee Ryan and Tammy Daybell, who have indicated a willingness to speak with us and allowed them an opportunity to provide their input if they wished to do so. The ultimate decision to seek capital punishment rests with the State, and after completing the entire process, we determined that the nature and magnitude of those crimes warrant the possibility of the highest possible punishment."

Hanging Chad?

Does anyone know if he can still make a deal?

I believe that Lori is as guilty as Chad. Of course she has mental problems, so does Chad, or anyone else that willfully murders children.

Perhaps Lori will get off light due to her so-called mental illness. If so, that will steam-my-peas. She is not only guilty of murder, but the murder of her OWN children. What could be more egregious than that.

Oh, she's suffered enough by the loss of her children.

I wonder if she cried when the bodies were found, I don't recall. She did, however, got weepy once while in court, when she realized she was being charged with the murder of her children, it did not play out the way she confided in a friend about the outcome. She had told the friend that the missing kids were newsworthy now, but then it would be dropped when a new news story caught peoples attention. Yeah. People would forget about the missing kids. No faces on milk containers. Just poof. I really detest the odious biotch.

She seems to not grasp the difference between the news media forgetting about it (which they likely will, as the news media has the attention span of a hyperactive cat), and law enforcement and prosecutors forgetting about it, which generally takes a lot longer, especially when children have been murdered.

Chad's kid says

“I don’t know why they would be there,” Murray said of the children’s remains. “But I do know that if [her father] were to commit a crime, he wouldn’t be foolish enough to put the evidence in his own backyard.”

I don't see how it matters, but as a family they are probably struggling with coming to terms with what their father is alleged to have done. To reconcile that people often find it easier to believe they were framed.

This is a fairly long article - yes, by People - that was interesting to me because it was clear on the time-line. Perhaps I'm just slow, but at times I would forget when someone died. And then was dug up. Things like that.

But what is clear to me, is that they are 2 of the most vile, evil, odious creatures on earth. The prosecutors want Charles to get the death penalty. I don't know how long Lori can be held before she faces her music.

I think you mean Chad; Charles already received his sentence from Alex Cox.

Allegedly.

Thank you for the correction! As I said, I get confused sometimes when it comes to 'the crew' of murderers.

I was wondering if there'd been any new developments in this sad saga, and there was last month...
East Idaho News said:
GILBERT, Ariz. — Police in Arizona have asked prosecutors to review charges against Chad and Lori Daybell for conspiracy of attempted murder in connection with an incident involving Lori’s former family member.

The request came Tuesday after the Gilbert Police Department spent the past two years investigating the Oct. 2, 2019, attempted shooting of Brandon Boudreaux, Lori’s former nephew-in-law. Court and police reports show Boudreaux, Melani Pawlowski’s former husband, were in a contentious divorce at the time of the shooting.

She of course pled not guilty as we all know Alex was the real bad guy right?

She has also been indicted in Arizona for the conspiracy to murder her husband Charles Vallow. You know, Alex' self-defense argument.

Correct, and they have stated that the case in Idaho will run its course first before she is then prosecuted in Arizona. At least that is what a Maricopa County spokesperson stated:

A grand jury in Arizona has also indicted Lori for conspiracy to commit murder in the death of her fourth husband, Charles Vallow. A Maricopa County Attorney’s Office spokeswoman told EastIdahoNews.com in June that Lori’s Idaho case will run its course before she faces the charge in Arizona.

Hey, what do you know, some news on this case... Looks like the love affair between Chad and Lori may be fading.

Chad Daybell’s defense will be “diametrically” different from his wife’s, and their trials should be held separately, his attorney says.

Chad and Lori Vallow Daybell are charged with multiple counts of first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit murder for the deaths of 7-year-old Joshua “JJ” Vallow and 16-year-old Tylee Ryan – two of Lori’s kids – along with Chad’s previous wife, Tammy Daybell.

Their death penalty cases are conjoined, but during a hearing with District Judge Steven Boyce at the Fremont County Courthouse on Thursday morning, John Prior, Chad’s attorney, argued they need to be severed.

Our version of the facts of this case will differ greatly from what Ms. Vallow and her legal counsel are going to be presenting,” Prior said. “Our defense is diametrically different than Ms. Vallow’s, and the cases need to be separated.”

It's been a while since this case has been discussed here, but it's worth knowing that the trial of Lori Daybell is well underway, having begun on April 10th.

I haven't been following the trial closely because I generally don't follow trials closely. However, from coverage I've looked at, there doesn't seem to have been anything that I'd call particularly "explosive". However, there are a couple of items of interest that I've noticed.

The death penalty has been removed as a possibility by the trial judge, partly as a result of the state giving over some discovery evidence after the deadline, and partly as a result of Lori's insistence on proceeding with the trial immediately against the advice of the judge and her own counsel to ask for a continuance - apparently the evidence is quite voluminous and the judge has warned that she is risking her defense being unprepared to address some of it. But, a defendant has a constitutional right to a speedy trial.

The autopsy results for Tammy Daybell, Chad's first wife, were revealed. Tammy did not originally have an autopsy done when she died but her death was subsequently declared suspicious and she was exhumed for autopsy. The found cause of death was asphyxiation "at the hands of another".

After Lori's late husband Charles Vallow was shot and killed "in self defense" by her brother, Chad Daybell made a curious call to a funeral home in Arizona. He gave a false name, claimed his uncle had died, and asked how much it would cost to have the body sent from Arizona to Louisiana. The only nexus to Louisiana in this whole case that I'm aware of is that JJ's biological grandparents, the ones who would later ask the police to do the welfare check on JJ after having not heard from him, live in Louisiana. I don't know if that means anything, and don't have any real basis to speculate on, but the phone call was entered into evidence by the state during the trial, so they clearly feel it's important.

It's been a couple of years, so if you need a refresher on this whole very weird and complex dabacle here is a timeline that is current through the beginning of April this year, up until the beginning of the trial, of all the relevant events, dates, and revelations.

Thank you Checkmite. I have seen some articles - i believe they are from People Magazine - and I will try to post them, but thanks for your perfect reply.

Lori asked the judge to allow her to leave the court room while photos of the kids remains were displayed. The judge denied her request. I feel some satisfaction hearing that.

I guess she could still divert her eyes though. Pity the option of going all Clockwork Orange on her worthless ass wasn't available to him.

Monster

For some reason the article would not let me copy.

The cause of the childrens death was revealed in detail. Honestly, I thought that I had tougher skin, but this was brutal. I believe the little girl was dismembered. Just the defensive wounds on the little boy shows how much he wanted to live. Fought to his death in his jammies.

Anyway, it is a detailed day in her court case and easy to find, I believe it is People Magazine.

I have come to the conclusion that Lori is a monster. A video of the court case just looking at her face, she is evil. I will have to try and find the video of her as the murders of her children are being horribly detailed.

I will have to check upthread, but is there still a love/soulmate thing going on with the couple? Thanks

This trial has been a gold mine for anyone interested in cults, in psychopaths/sociopaths, pretty privilege, forensic sciences - a whole lot to fascinate with.

The phone call between Lori in prison and her sister was riveting. Where the psycho Lori tells her sister that nobody knows about the suffering she has been through... and her sister explodes on her about dancing and laughing on the beach in Hawaii as her children are buried on Chad Daybell's land in a less than dignified manner.

The phone records were decisive. They did have burner phones but the police have enough to establish where everyone was on the key dates and how much they communicated.

It looks like Melanie Gibb and Melanie Pawlowski were in a lot deeper than they let on. Of course, why would they admit to being in a murderous cult.

There were people before Lori and Chad. Like this whacko Julie Rowe and insurance fraudster Jason Mow. Melanie Gibb preceded Lori in that group, the Preparing a People circle, as a so-called "gatherer". That is, someone calling in the 144,000 spoken of in Revelation who would survive the second coming. Lori and Chad entered the group and more or less took over.

The most interesting thing for me is how this all boiled down to money, sex, and power. There were a number of insurance fraud schemes involved including workers compensation, life insurance, social security - and not just by Lori and Chad.

One of the things Julie Rowe did was hold "fireside" meetings where she selected people who would have various jobs after the second coming, like the new Army and security. She was setting up people with extramarital sex partners because their spouses would not be part of the 144,000. So they needed to get going with the sex before they even divorced or killed their partners.

Chad Daybell sure is interesting. He was a poorly compensated sexton (grave digger) but saw how Julie Rowe and others were gaining a following by claiming to have had near death experiences. That enabled them to see though the "veil", ie see the future, see heaven, talk to dead people & etc.

So Chad came up with a couple near death experiences he never told anyone about before. He wrote about them, self-published, and also gained quite a following. He used a pendulum to answer important questions for people, like who they were in past lives.

Lori targeted him because he had gained that notoriety, and he targeted Lori because she was the hottest thing he had ever handled.

So they murdered their spouses for insurance money... except Lori's husband changed his will right before they whacked him. Oopsie!

Well, bye.
A jury has found Lori Vallow Daybell guilty of murdering two of her children and conspiring to murder a romantic rival. The verdict was read aloud in court shortly after 3 p.m. ET, and jurors were dismissed moments later.

And good riddance. Now for that Chad ************ . . .

Yes, Lori Daybell was found guilty on all charges.

Those were, by the way:

Count 1: Conspiracy to commit first degree murder, Tylee Ryan
Count 2: First degree murder, Tylee Ryan
Count 3: Conspiracy to commit first degree murder, JJ Vallow
Count 4: First degree murder, JJ Vallow
Count 5: Conspiracy to commit first degree murder, Tammy Daybell
Count 7: Grand theft, for continuing to accept Tylee's and JJ's social security benefits after their murder.

There are Counts 6 (murder, Tammy Daybell), 8, and 9 (both insurance fraud) but they apply only to Chad Daybell. Remember that the two of them were charged together and the trials were separated afterwards.

Reading the indictment, it's interesting to me that the deceased Alex Cox is listed as a co-defendant on the three conspiracy charges.

Lori's sentencing will take place in three months, apparently.

Maricopa County attorney is still processing the Charles Vallow murder and the drive by shooting of Lori's nephew-in-law (I think thats the relationship). They seem to be willing to haul her down here, try her, then send her back to Idaho. Not sure of the point.

Lori Vallow Daybell verdict

Guilty on all counts. Both children and Chad Daybell's wife.

She's now facing another murder charge for her last husband.

I believe Chad is facing the death penalty. So I expect him to take a plea bargain to save his life, if the state will allow it.
