When we moved to Xenfora some of the signature options didn't come over. In the old software signatures were limited by a character limit, on Xenfora there are more options and there is a character number and number of lines limit. I've set maximum number of lines to 4 and unlimited characters.

King Drumpf signs EO aiming at shutting down Dept. of Education

I see the confusion, I was unclear.

Corporate America doesn't care about DOE, they will continue to recruit from the same tiny sunset of schools and small demographic they have always used.

Small firms are a different matter but Republicans don't care about small companies because they cannot make generous campaign contributions.
Corporate America needs more than just Ivy League graduates. Even a burger flipper must be able to handle a three-ring binder.

I think the real reason has to do with the Dept. of Education managing $1.5 trillion-with-a-T in outstanding student debt. Right now student debt has to meet federal regulations that start with the FAFSA (the uniform application for a student loan regardless of lender) and end with such programs as public service loan forgiveness. There are regulations that govern how lenders must behave and how creditors are allowed to collect debt. Deregulating and privatizing that debt could be very lucrative for lenders and disastrous for the 40 million borrowers. I don't think it has anything to do with curriculum or federal funding for schools. I think the Trump administration is really just looking to make that debt pay off harder for the financial industry without burdensome regulations.
Don't say that out loud. A lot of people owe money to "The Department of Education", and if the Dumpster Fire Brigade screws it up, they might abolish the "Department of Education" without properly transferring the loans.

Burger flippers are a commodity which can be imported if necessary.
They'll only be 'importing' white people, and there won't be many of us wanting to leave our democracies to go to a dysfunctional authoritarian fascist country where you can be disappeared to El Salvador if you insult President Elonia or the toddler-king.

Maybe they can pick up some Drumpf and Elonia fanboys from Hungary, Belarus, and of course, russia. Even the US isn't as dysfunctional as russia.

I disagree, rather like the antebellum South, people of colour are welcome, so long as they know their place.

Why not import millions of workers on poverty wages so long as you can send them straight back when they become inconvenient or uppity.

IMO the architects of MAGA and Project 2025 don't care about immigrants, legal or illegal, except how they can be used to rile the base. Indeed frightened illegal workers are a cornerstone of American industry in many sectors. Frightened people don't ask for better wages or working conditions.

Oh, he's one of those who deludes themselves into thinking they won't be a slave if a Randian utopia comes along.
He's my age (septuagenarian), so come the Objectivist Utopia, he'd be retired in such a fashion as to be no drain on the economy.
We will be urged to do our altruistic duty and disappear ourselves for our masters who are practicing their virtue of selfishness, just as it's a woman's duty to let the "superior man" take her without her consent.
(God, what a wretched creature Ayn Rand was!)

In theory, higher education is still accountable via accreditation. Fields like engineering are still licensed. However, they've already made clear the plan: bring in smart people from other countries on visas that allow companies to control where that genius can be applied and how much will be paid for it. There's no need to protect American jobs in the high tech sector because they've already told us that we're lazy and overpaid.
And for the peon-level low paid jobs, whole states will become pools of dimwits glad to do anything, no matter how demeaning or dangerous, to earn a crust. Like go down unsafe coal mines.
