The JREF's new president, D.J. Grothe, lists origami as a hobby on his Facebook page.

I just want to know if I need to buy my own paper or if it will be provided.

Don’t worry, you can find all the materials and advice you need at your local stationers. There are also plenty of websites that explain the basics. I’ve also been researching some of the other new JREF requirements and you can be reassured there is plenty of online instruction on those too.

Of course you will have to buy your own paper and take lessons. But we must take up origami as a hobby. Does our new president have any other hobbies we need to take up? We must imitate our great and esteemed leader in all things.

Magic: The Gathering. I might even still have my cards somewhere, if any of them are tourney legal anymore.

I just spent the week folding nearly 4000 letters. So yes, the JREF IS a paper folding organization.

I ordered the cards for a Luminarch Ascension deck I played in a FNM tournament a couple of months ago. I've morphed it into more of a decking deck, now, but I forgot to actually order a playset of Hedron Crabs.
Can anybody help me get crabs?
