    When we moved to Xenfora some of the signature options didn't come over. In the old software signatures were limited by a character limit, on Xenfora there are more options and there is a character number and number of lines limit. I've set maximum number of lines to 4 and unlimited characters.

I mean, they lost to him in the first place. Jay Jacobs and company should probably temper their celebration. They won a single seat back because the guy they lost to was a comical fraud so blatant, other Republicans agreed to bounce him.

According to an article in Forbes it is a bit more complicated:
Pilip is a registered Democrat despite now holding local office as a Republican, and Politico notes the candidate distanced herself from Trump for much of the campaign before praising him in the days before the election—only revealing she voted for Trump in 2020 in a Feb. 10 New York Post interview, after previously keeping her vote private.

CNN suggested House Republicans may be another reason [for the loss], citing conversations with voters Tuesday who voted for Trump in 2016, but then voted for Suozzi because of his “message of bipartisanship” and “the fact that House Republicans have really struggled to pass legislation over the last couple of weeks.” Forbes news link

trump probably doesn't know this, but the winner, Tom Suozzi, had won the District in 2016, 2018 and 2020. In 2022 he declined to run for reelection because he wanted to campaign (unsuccessfully as it turned out) for Governor of New York.

By the way the district, the Third Congressional District, has the highest per-capita income of any Congressional district in New York State. Also, for some reason the district is often reported as being in "eastern Queens (part of New York City)" but most of the district is actually suburban, northwest Nassau County. Included in the district is the Town of Oyster Bay of Billy Joel fame. ;)

Incidentally Trump lost that district in 2016 and 2020. Was Trump not MAGA enough?

You have to love Trump's gaslighting. The number of loser candidates that he has supported is staggering. He does worse than me playing the lottery.

They say to me with tears in their eyes, "sir, I never cry, sir. But, sir, I am crying now, sir. You, sir, have done wonderful for numbers, sir. You have made nubmers great again, sir"

His gaslighting is unprecedented (in the real world). This is, after all, the guy who is claiming credit for record highs in the stock market this year, saying it's the result of investors believing trump will win the 2024 election.
