General UK politics VIII - The Last Tory

I'm particularly impressed that she's complaining that a member of an opposing party has said things that contributed to her losing. I'm actually quite impressed that Starmer managed to do such a thing.

Replace 'Impressed' with 'Grateful '

I know Keir Starmer won't repeat his allegations that I crashed the economy because he knows it's a lie.

New: Keir Starmer is not planning to stop saying Liz Truss ‘crashed the economy’ despite her legal threat. PM’s spokesman says he ‘stands by’ what he said and asks if she is also going to write to ‘millions’ of voters who agree with him.

Apparently Elon is examining legal routes to remove Keir Starmer as the British Prime Minister.

It's easy, just wait four and a half years then there will be an election.

Despite all the noise they are making, neither Nigel or a single Reform MP has bothered to turn up to today's House of Commons debate on tackling violence against women and girls.

What's shameful is she was in charge when the report of a 7 year inquiry was handed to her in 2022 and she never acted upon it.
Now she uses the terrible misery and distress of children for her own gain.
"Ask not what you can do for raped children, but what raped children can do for you" Conservative mantra

Because (a) that would be actually doing work instead of skiving off, and (b) they would have been buried with facts and asked to explain themselves, which they can't.

Again I really think it is that they can’t knowingly lie in the house and that means they can’t repeat their usual lies and therefore have nothing to say.

but there's that "knowingly" bit. If it's credible that they are dumb enough to believe it's true maybe they can get away with it.

Skiving off would have been better than emptying the treasury & low selling the nation's assets into the hands and pockets of themselves & their donors then deliberately wrecking everything they could on the way out the door to hamstring the incoming government.

Seems grooming is being pushed to one side. Todays outrage for the Gammons is the government plan for breakfast clubs in schools.

Why should I have to pay for the children of feckless parents to get food? etc.

Nige would have explain why Brexit was the cause of all the current problems.

Now, now, Reform do have expertise in this area, after all one of their MPs was locked up for assaulting his girlfriend.

Reform MP James McMurdock was jailed for repeatedly kicking girlfriend, court records show

But let's not hold that against him, I mean we know men only ever do that once and swear they will never do it again...

Who provides funding to Starmer and the Labour Party?
Apparently, for example, I was reading that some hedge fund gave them £5M from a dodgy island in the Caribbean.

Rachel from Accounts has been rumbled. It's time for her to make her way to HR and collect her P45 - or stay in China, where they're almost as commie as she is.

Oh dear, how sad, nevermind...
That's hilarious. They've not resigned but rather threatened that they jolly well might resign from the Farage Fan Club because he's running it in an 'autocratic' manner. They don't like being told what to do by the guy they've worshipped for years, now the world's richest nervous breakdown has told them they ought to be being told what to do by the true messiah; an even further right grifting headbanger jailbird, instead.

Hi Elon - That "hedge fund from a dodgy Caribbean island" was very likely Nigel Farage's doing. That's his only expertise. ;)

They're all in here somewhere...

Farage told BBC Newsnight the councillors who had quit were put forward by a "rogue branch" of the party and that "none of them passed vetting".

"We had a rogue branch putting people up and I think you'll find, in many cases, there will have to be by-elections because they were not legitimately put forward," Farage told Newsnight.

Why would there have to be a by election because a councillor has left the party?
It's the individual that's voted for, not a party.

Refrom thinks that All translation and interpretation for foreign languages in the NHS should be scrapped.
If you live in England and want to access English public services, you should speak English. Foreign translation is not the taxpayer’s responsibility.

No doubt they've done a cost/benefit analysis, and can show that we'd all benefit from their suggestion.

And, conversely, they'd be happy to deal with a foreign health provider in the local language if they fell ill abroad, of course.

A rogue branch that was never vetted apparently.
They don't seem to have done much vetting of their candidates at all.

Much like the Brexit party before that, the vetting appears to have been reduced to checking if the cheque cleared or not.

Sorry but that is an unproven assertion.

A Reform MP has certainly stated that opinion. Not sure it's party policy however.

Ivor Kaplin, a Labour MP until 2005 has been arrested for on suspicion of engaging in sexual communication with a child."

This obviously shows that Labour are refusing an enquiry because they are the party of pedophiles and Starmer should be arrested for his crimes.

Elon is dancing in delight in the Twitter comments.

Elon can squawk all he wants, the British public think he's a lunatic and a threat to the country. If the Farage and the Tories are dumb enough to cozy up to him all the better.

But that can't be right.

Both Elon and GBNews ran polls showing Elon has overwhelming support from the British people.
