Face, meet leopard. Leopard, meet face.

Invanka and hubby got a couple of billion from SA.
Sort of.
Jarod "manages" the investment fund though how qualified he is for that level is unknown to me, like most of the people/positions surrounding T. But it doesn't usually look good.
So what Jarod and she actually pocket is the bulk (?) of the transaction commissions which must be tens of millions per year.
Nice work if you can get it! 😆

Ah, but it's not enough. It's never, ever enough. They want more.

Which reminds me, a little history first...
T raised ~$100+ million for his first inaugural and spent about half. The unspent funds, by law, are free to the discretion of the inaugural planning committee. But where did they go?
I think we all have a fair idea, and it's not refunds to the donors.
My question... given his campaign received probably ~$250 million right at the end (thanks fElon & Co.) what amount might have been transferred to the second inaugural cmte (can that be done?) or just how much was raised?
Because we know, thanks to T's frail constitution (or did the bone spurs flare up) that virtually nil was spent.
Just something that makes me go.... hmm.

According to Mark Cuban:

And today's voter ID EO has potential to affect a ton of poor, conservative, mostly rural voters. Especially married women, they're liable to get rogered over this.
I'm not sure which side it could screw worse. But I am pretty sure T hasn't given it enough thought. 🤨

Given that in the wishes of the current leaders of the US married women are property of their husbands who should either let their husbands vote, or not vote at all, that's a feature, not a bug.

But.... no transgenders in women's bathrooms (except in every single home with a transgender of course), so women will be safer under Trump.

I think I can see the crux of the issue here...

You mean the DEI voters? They're supposed to vote what their husbands vote anyway. Just make married men's votes count double.

Just like with Jim Crow, if you're white and vote the right way, you'll be grandfathered in so the new rules won't apply to you.

How dare he look Hispanic; no wonder they drew their guns.
'...reconsidering his support after he was targeted for being Hispanic'.

Whereas 8+ years of targeting other minorities in all kinds of ways is completely fine?? He can go ◊◊◊◊ himself with the pointy end of a pineapple.

Edited to have the quote show the actual image.

Yes, but Trump has a way of being worshipped by those he insults and those whose family he insults.

Yup, that's why she sucks so hard. She can barely finish a sentence without talking about who her dad is but Trump metaphorically takes a ◊◊◊◊ on him repeatedly and she's crying at his ◊◊◊◊◊◊◊ SotU address? Seriously, what the ◊◊◊◊ is wrong with these people?

Liberation Day Has MAGA in Full Turd Polishing Mode (Dark Brandon on YouTube, April 3, 2025 - 11:33 min.)
MAGA nation celebrates Trump’s “Day of Liberation” — but no one can quite explain what they’re being liberated from. Join us as we explore the mental gymnastics, economic delusions, and the beautiful art of turd polishing that keeps this cult humming.

Voters in agricultural-oriented counties overwhelmingly voted for _____, but now they're faced with the loss of a major buyer - China.

From that source, Trump's farmer boosters want to rapidly resort to socialism - government handouts - to save their farms. Fortunately, Team Trump appears to be resolutely against socialism for the moment. Good for them!

Could farmers get government aid?

The only way most farmers survived Trump’s last trade war was with tens of billions of government aid payments, but it’s not clear if he will do that this time. He gave them more than $22 billion in aid payments in 2019 and nearly $46 billion in 2020, though that year also included aid related to the COVID pandemic.

Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins told Fox News this week that right now she doesn’t believe massive aid payments will be necessary, although she won’t know that for several months. “But if it is, then this president has always said and he is resolute in his commitment to our farmers and our ranchers and our great rural communities in America, so we will we’ll make sure we’re ready if in fact that is necessary,” she said.

lol, they voted for leopards and their farms will be bought up and turned into leopard parks 🐆. The leopards roam over vast areas, so they need lots of... What's that word, living space. Translated to German that reminds me of something...

The word you're looking for is "Poland."

'Lifelong Republican' is furious with trump:
“I didn’t sign up for this. I wanted reform, not cruelty. Strength, not delusion. I’ve been a lifelong Republican, and I know I’m not the only one starting to feel this way. We need to seriously ask ourselves: is this what we voted for, or just what we’ve been sold? It is hard to not feel conned. And I’m angrier than I’ve been in as long as I can remember.” Alternet article link (paywalled)

Of course the tragic part is-
Only five months ago, the head economist for Moody’s said the economy under Joe Biden was the best he’d seen. Mark Zandi said “this is among the best performing economies in my 35-plus years as an economist.”

  • Economic growth was rip-roaring, with real GDP up 3 percent over the past year. Unemployment was low, at near 4 percent, consistent with full employment.
  • Inflation was fast closing in on the Fed’s 2 percent target.
  • Grocery prices, rents and gas prices were flat to down over the past more than a year. Households’ financial obligations were light, and set to get lighter with the Fed cutting rates.
  • House prices had never been higher, and most homeowners had more equity in their homes than ever.
  • Corporate profits were robust, and the stock market was hitting a record high on a seemingly daily basis.

And now?

That image was reported on by Newsweek magazine in 2022. Newsweek said at the time:
Social media users have mocked Donald Trump after a photo of him without fake tan or makeup went viral. The picture of the former president was taken while he was playing golf at the Trump National Golf Course in Bedminster, New Jersey, which is due to host a controversial Saudi Arabia backed LIV tournament on Friday. The image shows Trump in a white polo shirt and red "Make America Great Again" baseball cap. Newsweek article link

By the way, in the same article Newsweek also reported:
Trump defended his golf resort hosting the LIV tour after receiving criticism from families of 9/11 victims because of the Saudi government's alleged backing of the terror attacks in New York, with protests against the event set to take place. "Well, nobody's gotten to the bottom of 9/11, unfortunately, and they should have as to the maniacs that did that horrible thing to our city, to our country, to our world," Trump said. "So nobody's really been there." Trump made the claim despite frequently blaming Saudi Arabia for the attacks in the past.

trump appeared at another LIV tournament this weekend.

If only someone had warned them all that this would happen before the election! :sarcasm:

She was doing her utmost to make Trump look good - younger, stronger and healthier than he actually is, and yet still somehow recognizable as Trump - and this is the thanks she got!
Painter of ‘truly the worst’ Trump portrait says president’s comments threaten her art career (CNN, April 7, 2025)
The painter whose portrait of Donald Trump was removed from the Colorado state Capitol after the US president branded it “truly the worst” says the criticism has put her four-decade art career at risk.
In a statement published to her personal website, portraitist Sarah A. Boardman said Trump’s allegation that she “purposefully distorted” his image was “directly and negatively impacting my business… which now is in danger of not recovering.”
(...)
He unfavorably compared the painting to Boardman’s portrait of former president Barack Obama — which hung beside it in the Capitol’s third-floor rotunda — writing it looked “wonderful,” while “the one on me is truly the worst.” Trump also took a personal swipe at British-born Boardman, saying: “She must have lost her talent as she got older.”
Is she really claiming that it's not true that she "purposely distorted" his image??!
Her crime is obvious! She didn't distort it enough!
Did she learn nothing from all those NTF, trading-card and fan-fiction Trump-as-Superman or Trump-as-a-bodybuilder images online?

If a face ever deserved to be eaten ...

Obviously she should have taken lessons from Ben Garrison's Man-crush drawings of Trump, or the AI pics his fanboys make where he's more muscular than a gold medal bodybuilder.

Maybe they should have just bought some of the Trump trading card nfts and used them.

I agree, see below. The image on the left is the one Sarah Boardman created. trump hates it. The one on the right? trump never complained about that one.
