Dreadful days are coming

... overdue?

You must be related to Mike Pillow - he keeps telling us the election will be overturned on a particular date... then he pushes back to another date ...and another ...and another ...and another ...and another ...and another!

You're doing the same thing here with your bat-crap crazy end of the world predictions. FFS, make a bloody prediction and then stick with it --- then admit you were wrong when it doesn't pan out!

They are rude as you can see. Probably the date of May 24 will also be wrong.

I suppose it's pointless to ask why, if the date is probably wrong, you bother to mention it at all. I predict that the date of June 23 will also be wrong. Pat me on the back when my prophecy comes true.

Why are you repeating what I said? I said they would probably be wrong again. But at date only...

You mean that at some point in the future, a hitherto undetectable planet will suddenly pop into view above our heads and cause a bit of localised flooding, but you can't say exactly when, and it won't really affect us anyway?
Sorry- why are you here again?

You're repeating what you wrote, which is bruto's point. And several of us predicted that you'd do exactly what you're doing now - kicking the can down the road.

May 24 is really inconvenient, and it's also a Tuesday. Quite the wrong day for whatever it is that's supposed to happen. Could you make it another day?

I've got nothing in my diary for the 27th, and it's a Friday (so we would have the weekend to recover/tidy up).
Does that work for everyone else? If so, I'll pencil it in.

Well eventually there's bound to be some kind of natural disaster - an asteroid impact, a supervolcano eruption - which is going to make life very unpleasant for a lot of people. But such events are very few and far between - like hundreds of thousands of years between - and largely unpredictable.

As predictions go, "something bad is going to happen eventually" is about as worthless as it's possible to get.

Eeeeeeehh...I kind of prefer my apocalyptic hellscapes on a Monday, if it works for everyone else. Leaves the weekend to get the grass mowed. No earlier than midmorning, though. Need that caffeine to hit the bloodstream. So does the 30th around 9:30ish work for you guys?

I'm open to most any time, but personally would prefer it (the apocalyptic hellscape) to occur sooner rather than later, as, due to my laziness, I am counting on it to improve the state of disaster my place has become.

Would prefer it to be a Monday...rather than midweek. Going back to work the day after an apocalypse can be depressing.

Dreadful days are back again,

Ain't no way

Yes, medicine science in the market is fake
Be specific: What is "fake" and why is it "fake"?

astronomy in the market is fake
Astronomy is not "in the market". People don't sell astronomy. So what does this mean?

psychiatry in the market is fake
Be specific: What is "fake" and why is it "fake"?

religious teachings in the market are also presented to people in fake form by people who are called experts.
Are people selling religion now? Explain better.

By the way, it seems that they have decided to explain the reality of Nibiru:

No, they are making a proposal. They are showing some evidence. Does that make it true? You will need to be a proper scientist and explain your opinion. Begin!

...astronomy in the market is fake,

My profession is a practical application of astronomy for paying customers. I assure you it works just fine whether you believe in it or not.

religious teachings in the market are also presented to people in fake form by people who are called experts.

Yes, I've listened to quite a number of religious presentations from people proclaiming themselves to be experts. You make quite a lot of hay at this forum shilling your website in which you insinuate to be an expert in Islam. But you rarely engage in discussions of the errors in your religious claims. If anyone were to fall in the category of fake religion, you'd be a candidate.

By the way, it seems that they have decided to explain the reality of Nibiru:

Nonsense. We've know for more than a century that Neptune's orbit is irregular and unstable. We've known for slightly less than a cetuntuy that this is due to a vast herd of trans-Neptunian objects (TNOs). The ongoing study of these objects and their unique gravitational environment is not proof of the legendary Nibiru any more than the rock over which you've built a dome is proof of Islam. the specificity of the claim matters.

Just noticed this thread reawakened after...two years? How we doing on those dreadful days? Did they come and go, or still coming?

I must confess I'm facing the future with a certain degree of dread, but to state the reasons explicitly might be contrary to forum etiquette, so I will just say that I think my dread and Emre's are retrograde.

Same here.

For those who didn't feel like shelling out for the printed program, here's a tl;dr of what's going on. Islam flatly rejects the notion of Nibiru or Planet X in its purported role as the Earth-killer. And within the auspices that religion, they're right to do so. As in many other religious traditions, the Quran spells out its idea of the end times with enough specificity to reject the Nibiru hypothesis as a congruence.

In his linked article, Emre seems to think he's found claims of scientific evidence for Nibiru or Planet X. He has not. The ongoing study of trans-Neptunian objects (TNOs) continues unabated in much the same way as it has for a hundred years, except that now people need absurdly powerful computers to test their gravitational models statistically. As a person who has access to absurdly powerful computers, I have rented them out to aid in such efforts. But ultimately this boils down to the standard claims Emre has made in his other thread: secular science is getting it all wrong and the Quran is correct as regards scientific claims. Astronomers and planetary scientists do not not believe in the Nibiru hypothesis, nor are they actively looking to confirm or refute it. It's been relegated to the bin of crackpot theories almost since its proposal. Scientists do not believe a hidden planet-sized object is about to destroy Earth.

I sense a more proximal and credible danger from an orangish planetoid that seems to emit noxious gas, and is presently very near Earth—in the New York area.

I mean I do sometimes feel like I'm in a karmic optometrist's office, face up against one of those vision measuring devices...

Dreadful days are coming? My brother in Christ, dreadful days are already here. Nibiru is a metaphor for the human condition. The planet we live on is always at risk of destruction from the anti-planet looming in our souls.

Dreadful days are coming? .

Yes, we have been living in a period of disaster and suffering for about seven years. And on September 17th, this seven-year period ends (according to my observations, September 17th is the real New Year. Every year from this date onwards, the characteristics of people and events change and a new tone begins).

But let's see what awaits us when this seven-year period ends.

I'm sure it'll be the same thing that awaited us back in March or May of 2022.

That doesn't make you right or virtuous.

...but here the charlatan who makes fake science makes money.

You've shown no evidence of fake science or charlatanism. You've shown no evidence of an inappropriately pecuniary motive for their work or for any particular conclusion drawn. It's clear that you disagree with science, but that doesn't equate to the science profession being deceptive or dishonest.

In many Muslim countries, the clergy receives a stipend from the state. In many other cases they receive voluntary donations from their congregation. This is so that they can spend all their time and energy in their clerical role. Does this make them all dishonest?

But September 17th isn't the day after the shortest day of the year (the logical point for placing New Year's). In fact it's just before the Autumnal equinox, probably the least logical time to have the New Year.

Have you any evidence for your conspiracy by the way?
