We already have a long running thread on his mental state and one on his being president in addition to the several on his legal problems.
This is the only one I'm aware of. Link to the other?

A mental health expert is warning that Donald Trump's current mental state could pose a significant threat to the United States. The expert says that Trump currently has what's known as "impotent rage," which means that he feels powerless, and that makes him severely angry. As his anger grows, so do his extremist statements that are leading his followers to commit, or threaten to commit, violent acts. Farron Cousins explains what's happening.
Mental Health Expert Warns That Trump's Mental State Poses Grave Threat To Country (Farron Balanced on YouTube, Aug 20, 2023)
Former President Donald Trump is facing a personal mental health crisis that is directly affecting America, argued Salon's Chauncey DeVega in conversation with experts.
(...)
Trump has shown a wide range of pathological behavior over the past seven years or so," wrote DeVega. "He has an unhealthy fascination with violence. He lacks impulse control and empathy. He revels in cruelty. He compulsively lies and exhibits traits of malignant narcissism. He is a confirmed sexual predator and misogynist. He has a tenuous relationship to reality, and increasingly retreats into victimology and a persecution complex." Indeed, DeVega continued, Trump even considers himself "almost literally superhuman and often behaves like a cult leader."
Trump is blinded by 'impotent rage' that poses a grave threat to America: mental health expert (RawStory, Aug 18, 2023)
Rather than mocking or deriding these rants, it is better to understand them as problematic and dangerous. This is classic projection: Trump is projecting his inner views and pathological sense of self-identity outward onto others."
Our collective malady: Donald Trump's mental health crisis is America's problem (Salon, Aug 18, 2023)
I honestly believe that Joe Biden doesn't love America.
Right now, our once great country is falling apart. Inflation is ravaging our economy. Our border is in complete disarray. Our enemies are openly spying on us and getting away with it. And our justice system has been replaced by a weaponized legal system that criminalizes dissent.
We are a nation in decline.
If I were in the White House right now, I would dedicate every waking hour and every fiber of my being to fix this mess.
But what's Crooked Joe doing as America burns?
… Spending millions and millions of YOUR taxpayer dollars to wrongly indict, arrest, and possibly even JAIL his leading opponent.
The truth is: Crooked Joe doesn't care if our country burns to the ground. He only cares about his own power.
But I trust you know that I truly care about America. Nothing motivates me more than my endless love for our country.
Look, I didn't have to run for president. I didn't have to challenge the Deep State.
I'm not in this battle for fame or fortune. I'm in this battle to save our country and nothing else.
Crooked Joe doesn't care if our country burns to the ground. He only cares about his own power.

The rest is a book review and author interview: Death Of The Great Man - A Novel; By Peter D. KramerBut from the earliest moments of Donald Trump’s campaign, his behavior, falling far outside the boundaries of conventional candidate comportment, raised the question of whether he could be adequately assessed in purely political terms. Where did politics end and psychology—or psychopathology—begin? Thus the Trump years have inevitably given rise to the routine flouting of the Goldwater Rule, most notably in a collection of writings assembled by the former Yale psychiatrist Bandy Lee, The Dangerous Case of Donald Trump: 37 Psychiatrists and Mental Health Experts Assess a President. (Lee subsequently got fired from Yale for publicly arguing that Alan Dershowitz was suffering from a “shared psychosis” with Trump.)

I sincerely believe Donny's pudgy fingers did not write that screed. It's the work of either a lackey or one of his handlers (and by "handler" I mean like someone who wrangles wild and dangerous animals).
In light of this, I question the wisdom of giving out One nuclear launch code to a president when he leaves office
In early 2019, at a memorial service for a prominent psychiatrist, a succession of “doctors and other mental health professionals” told Nancy Pelosi they were “deeply concerned that there was something seriously wrong” with Donald Trump, “and that his mental and psychological health was in decline”.

Water is wet, snow is cold, fire is hot..........
That is quite an interesting read. Scary as hell, but interesting.
I wish she would have held this off until after the election. All of it is true, of course, but it gives a tinge of "people have told me he's a doodoo head" vibes.
Probably already posted (sorry) and most certainly redundant but I thought it was precise addressing Trump's mental illness diagnosis and why "Duty to warn" overrides the "Goldwater Rule."

"Diagnosis"
Trump's behaviour is highly abnormal. Concern trolling about the lack of a clinical interview is pretty moot. Especially for someone so heavily documented.

Agreed.
The NYT finally did a story about Trump's brain turning into mush today though, so it's a start, albeit a bit too late to have an impact.
I think there's an outside chance someone high up in the GOP might finally come to their senses if it can sink into their thick skulls that allowing a lunatic to be President might seriously compromise the security of the nation, and if they made that clear before the election it might sway a bunch of non-MAGA Republicans to think twice before voting.
The only thing that might convince MAGA that Trump is psycho is for him to have a complete breakdown on camera claiming he's Jesus Christ returned to earth while wearing a robe, sandals, and a fake beard while waving a copy of Gone With the Wind and throwing fish at the crowd.
And some of them still would vote for him.

They think he's Jesus as is. About the only thing that'll convince the MAGAts at this stage is a Berlin 1945 type situation happening to them.
And even then a sizable percentage will still be true believers.
They don't think he's Jesus, but they do think he's been sent by God. They compare him to Saul-Paul. You know, he's an adulterer, liar, grifter, criminal but that's OK because no one's perfect.

I fear that in the rush to judgment on Trump's insanity people are being unfair to his stupidity, which is also vast. Please, people, let's always remember that Trump isn't just crazy, he is also very, very stupid. Credit where it is due.
