When we moved to Xenfora some of the signature options didn't come over. In the old software signatures were limited by a character limit, on Xenfora there are more options and there is a character number and number of lines limit. I've set maximum number of lines to 4 and unlimited characters.

HELP! Discovered what I think is a dead GPU the other day on my main machine. No display, tried different cable and monitor, rebooted. No joy. D6 error displayed on motherboard on reboot. Tried reseating card. Dusted out the case. No change in behavior. Let it sit overnight, same error on reboot.

1) Any other tests I should do before loading the parts cannon?
2) If new GPU required, any suggestions? I can't even spell GPU without looking it up.

Original GPU: EVGA 04G-P4-3776-KR G-SYNC Support GeForce GTX 770

ETA 1: corrected motherboard link

Motherboard: EVGA X99 FTW (150-HE-E997-KR) LGA 2011-v3 Intel X9

ETA 2:
My initial googling about D6 is what led me to the initial assumption about the GPU. Thanks. I'll keep digging, but any and all input is appreciated.

Other than protein folding using the GPU, I don't tax the system much. I don't do much gaming. I stream videos and surf the web. Any recommendations for a new/refurbished unit?

You've inspired me to put in the 'new' backup graphics card that I bought at the beginning of the Covid lockdown.

I'd bought it as a backup for my existing card, because it was showing some odd on-screen artefacts, but didn't put it in, because I'd have to spend time tinkering on the machine that I was using as my primary work-from-home device.

Now, I've used it as an excuse to upgrade to debian 11.

Needless to say, I'm in hog-heaven.

:)

Edited to add: It's a Gigabyte Radeon RX 5700 (in case anyone is interested in such trivia)
