Merged Criminal Charges Against Trump/Trump indicted

He is psychologically incapable of asking anybody for help. Especially someone like Biden. It would mean admitting that he isn't perfect.

Disagree. He asked Russia for help. “Russia, if you're listening, I hope you're able to find the 30,000 emails that are missing."

He asked Zelensky for help. “Do me a favor”.

He asked Raffensperger for help. “I just want to find 11,780 votes, which is one more than we have…”

He asked Pence for help re: the counting of the electoral votes.

Many other examples. I don’t think malignant narcissism precludes asking/manipulating other to do your will.

The golden egg of failing health and/or needs that cannot be provided for inside a facility still stand.

It would hurt his presidential run badly outside of the maga rats fanbase so it's a very last option.

My personal thoughts are he will attempt delays via legal teams at any cost, miss court dates for any reason and then say he will not be able to participate for his ever important re-election efforts.
He doesn't care if he sinks everyone around him to get what he wants.

The detail he cannot control is the USSS detail that is ever present may not help him for bigger loyalties. He cannot go anywhere without them knowing.

He doesn't care if he sinks everyone around him to get what he wants.

And this was a problem when he was the President and "everyone around him" included... everyone.

Now? Anyone still in the same lifeboat with that ****** deserves to go down, so he can take as many people with him as he wants as far as I care.

Ask Biden for a pardon
He is psychologically incapable of asking anybody for help. Especially someone like Biden. It would mean admitting that he isn't perfect.
Well, he won't phrase it like "Please can I have a pardon".

Instead he might phrase it like "Biden should know I'm the most innocent man ever in the world, and he should pardon me to stop the witch hunt that is taking away resources that can stop the invasion of illegal immigrants across the border that Biden is responsible for". Or instead state "If I don't get pardoned there will be widespread protests, headed by the proud boys whom I don't really know anything about but I just told to stand by".

I showed that fanciful short list to someone else and they came up with another good one. Trump begs Putin to declare him a Russian citizen and then make him a Russian diplomat - with immunity - back dated!

A shoot out at Mar-a-Lago? Some pundits say trump's latest Truth Social rant seems like a thinly veiled threat.

What is it with this 'everybody' stuff? Everybody knows he's innocent. Everybody knows the election was stolen. Yadda-yadda-yadda.

Meanwhile... MAGA!!!

Who can predict what a lunatic will do?
I think he'll go quietly. He'll continue ranting on his twitter wannabe network, until he's not allowed to any more, but he won't do anything radical himself because he'll be expecting the people to rise up and save him, because of course they will.

What is interesting is that all of his a lawyers are telling Trump to turn himself in quietly, ..pretty sure they could arrange for him to be indicted and then releaserd on a huge bond and never actually have him (at least for now) go to jail, but Trump seems to be resisting that wanting a much drama as possible.

"As they tell us to be peaceful"

those words might come back to haunt Trump if it turns viiolent.

He might as yell "Burn,Baby, Burn" and be done with it.

And Alvin Bragg is an Afro American.
You know if Trump is indicted the race card will be played like it neverhas before.

I think trump's lawyers have been suggesting he allow them to arrange a virtual arraignment by remote hookup. trump is in Mar-a-Lago the court is in Manhattan. Many legal experts expect no actual arrest, he'll be arraigned and then processed right in the courthouse. Possibly no bond requirement at all. None.

trump's latest antics remind me of Al Pacino in "Scarface." And an even older (much older) movie, 1931's "Little Cesar," starring Edward G. Robinson. Wonder if they're trump faves? ;)

This may be of some interest -

Judge Gives Trump Mafia Boss Treatment And Says So

The Federal judge handling E. Jean Carroll’s rape/defamation lawsuits against Donald Trump just gave Trump a treatment generally reserved for mafia bosses and terrorists. Judge Lewis Kaplan ordered that the jurors in the case will be anonymous. The judge did so, not on the request of either party, but sua sponte (the court’s own motion). The judge acknowledged that such treatment was unusual and “most often” reserved for “terrorism and organized crime cases.”

However, the judge cited Trump’s long history of attempting to intimidate courts, witnesses, and even individual jurors as justifying this unusual step.

I see the rioters in Bordeaus in France have burned down the City Hall.
Hope this does not give the MAGARATS any ideas.

Trump responded thusly. Can I ask what penalties apply for threatening a court official with a baseball bat?

Of course he wants drama. He just raised 1.5 million off of claiming an arrest was coming last Tue.

And I imagine he has quite a fantasy going about how he'll look on that perp walk. This is a man who knows no shame whatsoever.

Remember Bannon's perp walk. He used it to talk to the press.

You have too have morals to know shame, Trump and the GQP have none.

The Trump photo is obviously faked: he is nowhere near smart enough to keep his finger off the trigger until he is ready to shoot.

Didn't he just recently do a rally in Waco? The irony was not unnoticed by me.

Scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday. From USA Today:

The rally, planned for Saturday, will fall during the 30th anniversary of the siege of the Branch Davidian compound in Waco. Federal agents, aiming to arrest cult leader David Koresh, surrounded his walled compound in an armed standoff that lasted more than a month. It ended in a botched raid that left 76 people, including 25 children, dead.

I have to admit, I never imagined trump getting this crazy. And referring to the Manhattan DA as an "animal" and "scum?" WTAF???

By the way, National File dot com is described by Wikipedia as a "an American right-wing blog and news website founded in August 2019. It is known for publishing false or misleading claims about COVID-19." National File has published (uploaded?) many fake news stories. But the one about Bragg isn't just fake, it's idiotic.

[IMGW=400--]http://www.internationalskeptics.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=1457&pictureid=13370[/IMGW]

First, the 2021 election referred to was for Manhattan (New York County) residents only. It was not a citywide race. Obviously, if Bragg had only won 10% of the votes in Manhattan he would not now be Manhattan District Attorney. Second, Bragg won 83% of the vote, beating Republican challenger Thomas Kenniff by about 170,000 votes out of about 250,000 cast (211,000 vs 41,000).

The amount of sheer lying trump and his acolytes do is beyond anything I have ever seen. It reaches the level where it's actually hard to believe it is happening.

A nightmare. :(

From: Yahoo news
CNN legal analyst Norm Eisen also spoke out about Mr Trump’s post. “Threatening a prosecutor is a crime in NY. In fact MULTIPLE crimes: Harassment in the first degree NYPL 240.25; menacing in the second degree NYPL 120.14; stalking in the fourth or third degree NYPL 120.45 & 120.50 And that’s just for starters….” he tweeted.

Very interesting but it only matters if the person doing the harassing is a nonentity.

The rich and powerful have "First Amendment Rights".

Honestly I think it would be better if Trump was not charged over the Stormy Daniels nonsense, but instead was charged with the much more serious crimes dealing with trying to defraud the Georgia election and trying to intimidate politicians into doing his will. Those charges make a lot more sense and seem a lot more credible and definitely will convince the American people that a true crime was committed.

I agree that the Stormy Daniels case is fairly weak compared to some others (at least in terms of potential sentencing, and the overall crime is nowhere near as serious as the document theft or sedition charges).

But from what evidence is available to the public, a crime WAS committed, and one that would normally warrant jail time. And there is no guarantee that any of the other investigations will lead to a successful conviction (even if those other crimes would lead to longer jail sentences, or may even be easier to convict.)

Trump deserves to go to jail. For a long, long time. And there are so many times he SHOULD have been charged but likely won't face any penalties (interference in the Russian investigation, blackmailing ukraine, bank/insurance fraud, etc.) Every conviction that they manage to pin on him (even if its for a relatively minor crime like altering business records) is a step closer to justice.
