[Merged] Bobby Menard has "something" coming! / Menard's Newest Scam...

Is he going by "Bob Menard"now? Because I think I may have run into him.

Any details?

I apologize, BaaBaa, I didn't answer your question.

As far as I know Menard is still going by Robert. He says he hates being called Bobby or Bob.

But it is possible he is reinventing himself. There's nothing public on his Facebook page since June or July. He doesn't seem to have anything to do with the new trucker crowd or the TUPOC folks. It's possible he has put the freeman stuff on the shelf.

Nothing really spectacular: just an antivaxxer I ran into in an ad on FB, for genetic testing equipment (you crack wise *once* in an ad and Zuck thinks you're running a lab)
I looked at their profile and it was some bog standard freedom! balloon juice.

Menard had a fall back career as an inventor/entrepreneur. When he fell out in the freeman community he'd go to work trying to get folks to buy in on the investment phase of his projects.

He was famous for keeping the R&D money and telling investors it was their hard luck that his latest gizmo didn't sell or even get produced.

So he may be making genetic testing equipment and has changed his name in an attempt to avoid having his zero-for-life record catch up with him.

Maybe Bobby has been in an alcohol and weed induced stupor since Pierre P ran and won his party leadership contest for the Conservative party. FREEDOM!

It's a thought anyway.

He's watching us here. And as his narcissistic shock lessens little Bobby is likely plotting his next move.

And you are likely right that Bobby sunk into a Moose Head haze after the trucker protest thing.

The truckers saw him as a useless old man and he knew he couldn't risk getting into the fray lest he'd get arrested and the cops would find that outstanding warrant out on him.

Beth Martens dropped him like a bad habit.

There are no more puppy killers to sell legal advice to.

The films, books and lectures never seemed to come about.

What's a fat, balding freeman has-been to do?

Easy. When the grift has gone south, when your projects crash and burn all the time, when your credibility sinks into negative numbers and your addictions start to take control, start a cult.
That won't work for Bobby though as he never finishes anything he starts.

I hear a reality show was named after him. The Biggest Loser. :D

Bobby's still got a few followers and there are folks who think everything he does is golden.

My guess is that since his latest debacles he has plumbed these relationships to feed his fantasy that his thoughts and words are magic and can make things happen.

After a bad couple of years Bobby needs the worship and admiration more than he needs money. One option for him is to go back to his roots and try to sell some freeman jibber-jabber. Maybe he gets a few bucks from admirers but most of all he gets to hear people tell him how much they love him.

I'm sorely trying to resist using my burner FB to truly exaggerate my love for him, his awesome work, the good he has contributed to the world and his dedication to freedumb. it would be fun to see how much he basks in the admiration.
But that burner account has proven useful in the past when he tried to hide crap.

Decisions decisions...:(

Come on Bobby, I dare you to try and figure out who I am on your pathetic FB page. :D

Well, one thing is sure Bobby's got a big hole in the middle of him that he tries to fill up with money and praise from his minions.

Since the early 2000's he's been using social media, internet forums, web based "societies", Twitter and e-mail to get the approval he never got from ole daddy.

All his sisters went off and made something of themselves. But Bobby, one of the last kids in the family, had something lacking from the start. . .and everyone saw it. So daddy decided he'd toughen the boy up. Not knowing much about child raising and human psychology all the old man could think to do was ride the poor kid's arse to the point of abuse. He hoped it would make Bobby into a man.

But it turned Bobby into a narcissist who has no trouble scamming wannabe freemen, naive investors and those in legal trouble as long as the resulting praise, money and attention feeds that gapping hole in his soul.

As Bobby pushes 60 and his zero-for-life batting average becomes painfully clear his narcissistic personality disorder becomes more and more evident.

We all can sit back and watch Menard circle the drain.

Below is the poem Bobby posted on his Facebook page limiting its distribution to his minions. One of whom rolled over on him.

The highlights are mine. . .

Awakening from a slumber you peer past the sun.
You see people dancing where you felt that you must run
You stand for our freedom and speak of our rights
But an empty gaze and a flickering tube have turned out all the lights
So you climb a mountain of understanding untethered by what you knew You meet a wise-one coming down, now tired of the view The truth is there for all to see though many refuse to doThey suffer and pray to their earthly gods, seeking money and not whats true
They hunger and scrape and fight like dogs for a tiny little bowl
They build the bombs and point the guns, killing their own soul
They could accept their divine nature and the fact that we are one
They could share the bounty of the world and laugh in the sun
But there are those who want power and far more than their need
They trap the people using tricky words, beating down till no one sees
The dying babes and rivers of blood and oceans of endless of greed
They feed their masters the best of their work living on their knees
They have a choice to live or die they could dance naked in the sun
They could live a life of freedom and learn how to run
But they are blinded by the shadows of promises never made
They crave the wealth of the insane ones and all they have to trade
The happiest are those who share what they have with those who have the least
The saddest are those who with full bellies still feel a need to feast
Awaken to the truth this earth is your land
For there will come a day when you must finally stand
Before a golden gate shoeless in the sand
Make sure when you get there you can truly say I danced my life with love of others guiding me on my way.R. Menard

So Bobby is now the wise old man coming down from the mountain with the words of truth, saying he danced a life of love!

This is what is referred to as "Magical thinking", or believing that your actions or thoughts will have an influence on events that you can't possibly control.

It is common among individuals with narcissistic personality disorders.

I had an epiphany...
Haters create an image in their mind about you.
Often imaginary, always inflated, never justified
They want to define you
Then hate you for being the person
Which they alone have imagined.
Their goal is to get you
To Hate Yourself Also.
And the only reason for that Is….
They.
Hate.
Themselves.

Bobby, you had gas.

The list of dupes you have harmed with your bogus legal advice is too long to list.

No one can count the people who lost piles of money on your phony inventions and schemes because you won't open you own books.

You have stolen the intellectual property of at least two corporations (Real 3Games and Imaginarium).

You have defended animal abusers.

You have stolen the food filled Tupperware out of the refrigerators of people who were kind enough to let you sleep on their couch.

He plays the victim poorly. The idiot mistakes scorn, mocking and apathy as hate, just as a narcissist would.

Exposing his pathetic scams and schemes is not hate, it's a public service. Plus his stand up routine is brutal.

Bobby's, "He's trying to make me hate myself" ruse is wearing thin. The guy that made him hate himself was the old man.

If Bobby had been a real man he'd have found away to honestly deal with what his daddy did to him.

But since he didn't he couldn't nurture Megan and Elizabeth Anne. He was too busy poring whiskey down the hole his old man bored out in the center of his soul.

And every failure since then can be traced back to Bobby's inability to deal with the real problem.

Bobby's Biggest Lies Vol 1. . .

Here's an old post from this January:

As you all may recall I have been checking out one of Bobby's success stories:

You also claimed that the two clients received sheepishly apologetic letters from city officials immediately upon receiving one of your letters to the authorities.

I challenge you to produce documentation of your claim including the afore mentioned letters from the city of Montreal and the municipality in B.C..

Shall I contact Mr. Dunn and check out your tall tale?

It turns out Mr. Dunn has been replaced by Kim Ferris and she quietly destroys Bobby self-aggrandizing lie!

Dear Austin Rayder,

Robert Menard was not successful in his representation of the property owner, and the property violation is currently an active file.

Regards,

Kim Ferris
Manager
BYLAW & LICENSING SERVICES
Municipality of North Cowichan

---------------------------

Menard lied like a dog just to make himself look good on Beth Marten's show and to pretend he has "remedies".

The property is 3141 Sherman Road, North Cowichan. It's the property that "JV" used to rent. Thanks to Bobby "JV" got the shaft. Real estate listings show that the property is not up for sale and is not being used as a rental property. I suspect no one will buy it because JV hasn't settled the matter of the ordered repairs. And since use of the property as a rental is prohibited until the repairs are made JV is out the rent fees.

Thanks to Bobby Menard, freemandia's biggest liar!

Bobby's Biggest Lies Vol 2. . .

Around 2010 Menard sold freeman wannabe Lance Thatcher an $800 document that was supposed to how he could use Menard's theories to "fight the law" more effectively.

When the methods prescribed by Menard landed Thatcher in hot water Menard tried to get himself off the hook by claiming that Thatcher had not followed his instructions.

But the truth is Menard knew he was selling his magic method to a gullible and unstable person.

Bobby's Biggest Lies Vol 3. . .

From June of 2021:

It seems Menard has revealed his latest project.

Artist Valley Reality TV Show
On a 200-300 acre plot of land 20-30 individuals or small families will gather and work together to create and build 20-30 small homes, workshops, chicken coops, greenhouses, studios, barns and garages, and community spaces.

We are looking for hard-working, community minded, artistic creative types. People who can live in a tent until we build their shelter. People who have skills to bring. Artisans who can do crafts. Retired elders who can bring their wisdom. Families with children who see the benefit of existing in a small cohesive cooperating community.

Viewers will learn how tiny homes are built, how chickens are raised, how to garden, homesteading survival skills, the challenges of living almost off grid, and how a small group of dedicated individuals can work to make decisions, settle conflicts, and survive a societal collapse.

This community of artists and artisans would be sheltered, cared for, and invited to produce their arts and crafts. These items would be made available for sale which people could purchase online. We would also hold farmers markets where local produce distributors are invited to sell their produce and the artisans and artists can sell theirs.

Depending on who the artisans were and what their skill sets are part of the show could be of a musical entertainment variety. Were these artisans once an episode will put on a show in the theater.

Part of the goal would be to establish a small microbrewery, a cheese shop, a greenhouse producing salads year-round, identify and implement alternative energy generation systems, and minimizing our environmental impact.

Tiny homes and cabins
Individuals and families would be aided in building small cabins or tiny homes or turning suitable sheds into suitable living structures. They would be free to build what they want provided it is deemed safe and unique. This could include structures made from shipping containers, Adobe structures, yurts, log cabins, standard construction using regular lumber.

Financing
Cost of materials for each individual shelter could be born by the participant and financed by one company. We are actively approaching a suitable finanicing company to help

Corporate sponsors
Corporate sponsors could provide their materials at cost to the participants and accept terms of payment.

They would be invited to donate materials for common structures and exchange for advertising on the show.

In the coming societal change we do not expect it to collapse entirely it would simply be more challenging for corporations to provide their services. This would grant them an opportunity to determine what works in these new normal situations.

We will be examining a new societal structure and mechanisms for decision making resource allocation conflict resolution and community success.
TV show production

Chris Harrigan is an accomplished videographer, movie producer and editor. He would be able and willing to come on board do all of the filming and much of the editing although he would require at times and editing assistant. That party could be drawn from the pool of people chosen to occupy this land.

Positive social impact
There's a very large positive social impact available here. Teaching people to be self-sufficient, self-reliant and to establish individual communities which do not require provincial or federal government oversight or funding could help to prepare people for any coming economic challenges. Governments are much like parents and they should be inclined to teach people how to survive eventually without them. This is as opposed to making citizens who are completely reliant on government at all times.

Decision making process
Part of the challenge these people will face will be setting up decision-making processes and systems for dispute resolution. The systems will not be imposed upon them and they will be required to develop an implement their own systems.

Hosting educators and craftsman
The valley for the community would invite on a regular basis craftsman and artisans who have specific skill sets such as blacksmithing, glass blowing, pottery and the like. These people would be invited to host workshops teaching people how to engage in these activities. They would be hosted for a week or two and would have their own cabin and access to community spaces.

Common areas
Common areas would include woodworking shop, metalworking shop, canning shed, cheese making shed, chicken coop, livestock paddock, greenhouse, garden area, community hall, pottery shop, music studio, gym

We are looking for between 20 and 30 individuals, couples, or families. Ideally we are looking for artisans and artists who are competent and capable builders and survivalists. We are looking for individuals who are capable of working in the community sharing resources and helping each other out.

I reply at the time:

This is freedom valley (a failed attempt at a freeman community) meets cirque de soul (a failed attempt at creating a troupe of traveling artists) from a 56 year-old loser who is addicted to Facebook likes and the rush of a new idea. I suspect Bobby is also trying to distract everyone from his recent disastrous, drunken interview with Beth Martens.

The nub of it is that Menard says he is going to create a small township. In the process acquire the land. Get wannabes to sign off on mortgages for their homes. Convince corporations to donate to this insanity. Create his own sort-of government. . .and get it all made into a TV reality series produced by a novice film maker.

Watch out folks! One way or another the money is going to end up in Bobby's pocket. This is the guy who scammed ACCP subscribers, sold World Freeman Society dupes useless memberships and created a phony video game company, Real 3Games, attempting to get investor's money.

If Bobby follows his usual gambit he's going to need some earnest money up front. There'll be some chatter feigning the progress of the project. Then, after Freeman Valley 2.0 collapses, wannabes will be out their money and the blame will be heaped on governments, banks, corporations and T.V. networks, who just couldn't grasp Bobby's brilliance.

-------------------------------------------------------------

Over one year later absolutely nothing has happened.

There never was any idea in Bobby's head that he'd do anything more than toot his own horn and maybe raise a little R&D (read: Moosehead) money.

Well, whadda' ya' know

Right on cue Bobby has a little Freeman Eden in the works and everything is set up for a perfect outcome.

Sound familiar?

Robert Menard
Well it has been a very exciting and productive summer.
As many of you know I have long had a dream of setting up a homestead or intentional community which would be shared with like-minded artisans and artists. Well I think after a few false starts I have finally found a suitable location and team. Even though the operation will be smaller scale to start.
We have a nice Barn and rabbit hutch and have created a little chicken Eden by fencing off a large area of scrub brush within which we will have a large chicken coop. They are going to love it!
We also cleared sufficient brush to establish a very large garden which will be prepared before winter and ready to go in the spring.
The property is large enough to build a workshop and a greenhouse. Most exciting is that it is zoned commercial and it has room for a small restaurant operation. So we're looking at setting up a small Roadhouse with a large deck and providing a constantly changing though limited menu for homestyle cooking and catering. We are doing all of this while capturing video of our efforts with the intent of creating an entertaining and informative TV show showing all of the steps required to create garden beds, raised chickens and goats, and operating a restaurant. Imagine Red Green doing homesteading and operating a restaurant. With a little Trailer Park Boys thrown in for fun. It has been a lot of work and it's been quite a while since I've worked this old body but I managed to lose a few pounds, get a bit stronger, and get closer to my goal.
Over the winter we will be operating a microgreens indoor farm and selling to local restaurants and residents and may have an in with a couple of large grocery store chains. We are also setting up an indoor meal worm farm for the chickens and looking at growing mushrooms. All in all, things are going very well!

Wow, Bobby's managed to touch all his fantasy bases here. . .just the right zoning this time, a restaurant, catering service, a TV show, a micro grow selling to local restaurants and food chains, chickens, goats and a worm farm, too!

I wonder where he got the pictures?

Does this mean Bobby follows all local bylaws, has restaurant inspections by the local health unit (or whatever) and all the appropriate paperwork with the county or region? Food handling certificates if needed? Vendor permits and an HST number? Business licenses and government accounts for payroll tax submission? All personal information required for running a business including SIN numbers?

All permits regarding the use of fertilizers, herbicide and pesticides?

Sure sounds legit to me. We all know how meticulous Bobby is when he runs a grift.

Exactly!

Poor old Bobby's in his usual manic "Look, Daddy, I have wonderful idea" mode.

He really should have found pictures of a better developed plot of land. I mean is this all he and his co-workers (he said "we") have to show for a summer of work?

At this rate he'll have Freeman/Artist Valley up and running by 2030.

Does “zoned commercial” mean that he is engaging in commerce?

Yes, He says he's going to build a restaurant and grow food for sale to other restaurants and to a couple of large grocery store chains.

This pitch is left over from some of his earlier look-what-I-am-building tales.

Does “zoned commercial” mean that he is engaging in commerce?

Each province and sometimes each municipality may have different meanings and restrictions/allowances when a plot is marked for commercial use.

My wife, a real estate law clerk for 40+ years tells me that on most commercial properties there are extra steps to ensure the owner is not doing anything that may be dangerous like manufacturing chemicals without the proper inspection and permissions.

Even the storage of farm equipment and any liquid like gas and oil is heavily restricted and monitored. Most heavily restricted is propane. We had a propane transfer station explode in Toronto, the Sunrise Propane company. I live 45 km away and heard the explosion.

Some municipalities will not let a business owner reside on a commercial property.

Lastly, he appears to be wanting agricultural and commercial. That may not be allowed. Mushroom farming is a complex process that requires very large buildings, too.along with sterilized organic mass and heat controlled areas. Oh yeah lots and lots of straw. And money. No municipality will allow a business without paying all the associated fees.

Another scam to fool the gullible, a pipe dream that will never be successful. As if he cares though as long as the rubes keep giving him beer and weed money.

As I've mentioned before in this thread regarding an earlier similar Galt's Gulch scheme, the thing can be done but it's spectacularly difficult.

Here's a contrasting example of a successful one: The Four Quarters Interfaith Sanctury in rural Artemas, PA. It's an alternative spirituality church, a campground and hospitably facility, and a meadery (they make and sell mead). I think they also have a machine shop and limited specialized agriculture. Orren Whiddon organized it and runs it.

Consider what Orren did to make this happen. First, he worked for twelve years in a high-paying technical job in Washington DC while living off the grid (literally, in a log cabin). Having thereby saved enough money and waited for the right market conditions, he then bought the first large parcel of land and opened Four Quarters, continuing to live in poverty to keep the business running through its first decade. That was in addition to having a large number of volunteers and dues-paying regular members helping out. Orren is one of the most organized, dedicated, socially intelligent, and spiritually "centered" people I've ever met. That's what it takes to make a project like that successful.

That would be the kind of person to have confidence in. Not a loony loser and liar who has never succeeded at anything including sobriety.

Mead is disgusting though but he is a good person so I can let that slide. :D

One thing that strikes me (as a bit of an aside) is how bad Menard is at scamming. The Toronto Star is running a series of investigative articles on the activities of Christopher LaVoie who managed to scam otherwise intelligent people into paying thousands of dollars to appear on a reality show that never actually existed. (Actually he did the same thing twice -- once in Montreal and then in Miami).

Four Days: Part 1 He sold top business minds on a TV show that promised to save the world – and make them famous. They handed over thousands. Then reality set in

If you are going to scam people, this is how its done.

It also worries me that these people have never heard of "due diligence" or Google. Perhaps we are just too trusting of our fellow humans.

He is so bad that he recycles failed scams. No original thinking at all.

As I said above this latest "venture" isn't much more than a list of Bobby's fantasies.

Consistent with his narcissistic personality Bobby seems to think he, overnight, can learn businesses, trades and industries the rest of the world takes decades to master. The result is that he never puts in the time needed to become expert at anything.

He's nearly 60 and he still thinks he's going to wow the world with his (not so) big brain.

But let's get real. Bobby can't do business. He's got no driver's license. He can't fly to a business meeting. He'd have to sneak into Ontario to do business there.

And any company he imagines he's going to sell to or do business with is going to google him once and run for the hills.

I find it unbelievable he doesn't use magic words to avoid the various permits and licenses issued by the mean old provincial and feds.
They're not the boss of him!
Well at least there's lots of ******** to feed the mushrooms.

What's really happening at Bobby Valley?

Considering Bobby's truth challenged history one has to wonder about this latest tale.

He got barred from playing lawyer in B.C. after lying about his success rate (it was zero) to potential clients.

He stole the names of two companies, Real 3Games & Imaginarium, in an attempt to make it seem he was running the companies.

He pretended he had gotten municipalities in Western Canada to pay for his client's court ordered building renovations. That's been proven to be a lie.

I could go on. . .

So one has to wonder what's really happening at Bobby Valley?

Our friends at Quatloos wonder too: https://www.quatloos.com/Q-Forum/viewtopic.php?f=48&p=294390#p294390

Bobby's losing it right before our eyes. . .

From his Facebook page:

. . .of course I did not spend the entire summer 8 hours a day clearing a bit of land and cleaning up a homestead.. . .

. . . I got to spend a couple of weeks traveling and camping with a new friend. Been a full summer in that regard too!

. . .I have finally started my novel. . . . . A story of a freedom loving rapscallion in an overly governed dystopian future.

. . .What I am really excited about however is the monthly newspaper we are soon to be publishing. It is called that Canada Freedom Gazette. . . focusing on homesteading, homeschooling, personal freedom, understanding the law, addressing injustice, and sharing the freedom loving perspective. It will be entertaining, informative, empowering and provide a vehicle for serving notice on the governments and as a networking tool for intentional community builders.

As you can imagine there is a lot of work involved, but I am just about there, I just need to assemble a proper Board of Directors to provide the guidance and oversight such a project requires and find a couple more team members. . . . If you are interested in helping by either being a Director or Team member, feel free to contact us. . .

When Eldon Warman went ‘round the bend he showed a relatively recognizable form of lunacy. He got angry, paranoid and violent.

But what I have called the "Warmanization of Robert Menard" is taking a unique turn.

What may appear to be a manic period of heightened productivity and hyper-activity is more likely a narcissist acting out of a desire to exploit and manipulate others.

Bobby needs admiration, attention and dupes. And at this point nothing else matters.

Does Bobby realize that paper newsletters went out of style years ago? Especially ones you pay for. Printing cost are covered by a buck a copy? No advertisers before starting? Who would be dumb enough to believe he would actually pay? Everything he does is to benefit his bottom line and nobody else's.

I see more failures on the horizon. Maybe he could try a mimeograph. That way you can print and get high while you're doing it.

You nailed it.

Bobby's mindlessly following the cumbersome Druther's Magazine model.

Predictably Bobby seems to think that his business plan will be more credible if he creates a cumbersome board of directors and an old style staff structure. Bobby even sets the goal of giving staff "good jobs with competitive and reasonable benefits and pay."

The ever manipulative Bobby thinks this is the sort of stuff that will get over on potential duped investors.

The amazing thing is that he is just as clueless at 58 as he was at 38.

Now he's getting the idea but he did not say how much each position would cost. I suggest $25,000 for Director and $10,00o per Team Member. Heavy discounts could be available.

Anything to help. :w2:

Every phony project that Bobby invents has some sort of board or governance which is supposed to pass for due diligence in the minds of the poor dupes he's trying to get over on.

The problem is Bobby doesn't have the knowledge or experience to know how such thinks work in whatever industry or business in which he's pretended to have mastered. One can't tell in this case if Bobby's talking about an editorial or a corporate board. And it seems to have escaped him the boards need rules and by-laws.

But it doesn't make any difference anyway because Bobby's not going to get this newspaper thing done.

You may recall that months ago he fake-launched a gaggle of projects including a film, a series of courses in freeman law, the relaunch of Real 3 Games, a book on the law, a web based interview show and a few other fantasies I can't recall right now.

We might look at the amount of work involved in all these projects and wonder how Bobby thinks he's going to carry all of it off. But doing the work and achieving any goals aren't what Bobby is about.

He's a narcissist. All the phony projects and promises are about maintaining status in his ever shrinking subculture, keeping the adoration of his minions and manipulating any gullibles left who'll buy his BS.

Additionally, he strikes me as a fabulist similar to the guy I referenced in http://www.internationalskeptics.com/forums/showthread.php?postid=13906024#post13906024

The difference being that the guy in the Star story is good at making money out of his fantasies.
