    When we moved to Xenfora some of the signature options didn't come over. In the old software signatures were limited by a character limit, on Xenfora there are more options and there is a character number and number of lines limit. I've set maximum number of lines to 4 and unlimited characters.

Won't watch as I know it'll be a **** show and I try to avoid hearing Dump as much as I can. Will watch news coverage and commentary. There's a reason why I'm back here.

I am going to watch on a TV set. There may be one less TV set in this house by the time the debate ends.
 
Watching. I don't want to miss a thing. I read something about instead of a 7-second delay, CNN is presenting it with a 1-2 minute delay. I don't know if that's true because I read it on TwiX (and the MAGAmorons are going crazy about it).
 
Where is state of the union Biden? He needs to speak up and command the mic.
 
Jake Tapper is addressing Orange Man as "President Trump". I'm OK with that. Biden better be showing some fire pretty soon.
 
Hopped in to watch a few seconds with the sound muted. Biden appeared energetic, couldn't help but notice Dump is blinking a lot. What could that be about? Getting sleepy already?

Now Dump is talking and Biden is looking down, almost looking dejected. Come on Joe, show some fighting spirit.

Of course, most of what Trump says is ********, but it's the way they look and talk that people will remember. Joe looks and sounds tired and weak.
 
Trump asked about Roe v Wade going to the states, and if he’d block the abortion pill. He says no. Says everyone wanted it to go back to the states. Says he believes in the exceptions of rape incest and life of the mother. Then lies about abortion at 9 months.
 
This is going how I expected. Trump just blathers on about anything and whatever Biden says is completely irrelevant because he looks old.

Given that age and dementia has been turned into such major issues this election, that's pretty important, yes. I imagine that Dump looking fierce and resolute, playing one-hand accordion looks impressive to his disciples. From what I'm seeing, Biden is not looking well. They caught him on a bad day.

So far Biden looks and sounds terrible, trying to talk way too fast--Trump is responding calmly and coming off much better.

Biden does a bit better at the beginning the abortion question, but then OMG why is he talking about a woman who was killed by an immigrant?
 
Biden talks about women murdered and raped and not allowed to cross state lines. Trump talks about Biden’s open borders.
Biden asked if he supports any legal limits on abortion. He supports roe v wade. Says he will restore roe v wade. Trump says Biden will kill the baby at the 9th month. Biden says that’s a lie. We are not for late term abortion.
Biden: what if the very conservative mags republicans ban abortion.
 
I am done. Prez Trump is having his way with Prez Biden. When Trump started talking about war, I started to get a little excited thinking that he was going to mention Gaza, but he followed that with how good he did with Afghanistan. Will take the time to check the highlights tomorrow. Nothing either of them are saying is making me wanting to vote for either. Kennedy is kind of a democrat. Biden started talking about making buying a house more affordable and I am for that, but Kennedy is probably more for that.
 
Hopefully Dump eventually goes off the rails like he uses to. This is disappointing, though, I was hoping it'd be him who'd be disoriented and all over the place. We just had a tirade about electrocution and sharks when he forgot what he was talking about.

To be fair, I don't know if it matters too much. The election is still far off, there will be more debates, and Dump's health will continue to deteriorate. I also remember that Dump dominated a major debate in 2020. He still lost by a landslide.

This will be used in far-right attack ads for all it's worth, though.

I hope America learns from this and starts moving away from old white men in positions of power. Obama was a breath of fresh air at 47 in 2008. Why did the Democrats go back to someone way past their retirement age?
 
Trump says he had the safest border in history. Biden debuts and says Trump is lying.

Trump asked if he’ll deport all undocumented immigrants as he’s said, and if so how.

Trump repeats his lies about immigrants killing people.

Doesn’t answer the undocumented immigrant deportation question.
 
Bidens voice wasn’t like this at the state of the union. What happened.

Biden talks about veterans insurance improvement during his presidency.

Trump denies he said “suckers and losers” and Biden should apologise.

Biden said a 4 star general said Trump said it, and would not apologise.
 
At least Biden has warmed up a bit in response to Trumps lies.
 
So far, this is a disaster for Biden. Trump is lying as usual...practically everything out of his mouth is a lie but there is no fact checking. Trump is coming across as strong, but Biden is appearing weak and stumbling.

Finally! Biden is starting to appear more forceful. Thank goodness!
