A Thread for Democrats Being Useless

Centrist Dems held an event this weekend called WelcomeFest. And it was everything you expected from these useless nerds.

I bet those t-shirts are going to be the new hot style this summer

Surprised Manchin wasn't the keynote speaker.

Ya, totally fine with it. That's why they totally didn't need a giant support group.

Ya, good luck with that.

Because you wouldn't want them to bog down your discussion about politics.

You want to be really surprised? The event was funded by folks like Michael Bloomberg, members of the Walton family, Joe Manchin's daughter (the one who was CEO of the company that jacked up the price of EpiPens), the founder of LinkedIn, and Rupert Murdoch's son.

These are not the people to meet the moment.
Remember, these are the kind of people that, if TACO were to put up a series of Enabling Acts, would advocate strongly for the Democratic party to vote for them.

These are the kind of people that you can only call centrist if you accept the thesis that Adolf Hitler was a raging commie.

Why the ◊◊◊◊ are national Democrats throwing endorsement into the New York City mayoral primary? Like why does Jim Clyburn feel the ened to throw in his decrepit, unwanted 2 cents? He has his current position because of 2 major problems with the democrats

1) He's been around a long time and it was "his turn" to be declared a leader

2) He's old and black so that makes him a "black leader" despite having no real ideas or initiative in helping his ostensible demographic. He asserts that his personal visibility and privilege themselves are good for all his demographic.

On top of the idea of a former governor taking a demotion to be a mayor. Yes, its New York City, but its still a demotion. He's clinging to the false notion that he can president. That is among many things that is infuriating about his run. On top of his ◊◊◊◊◊◊ ideas and devotion to the Clintons, he isn't even doing to serve New York City. And he's there at the behest of the owners.

Cuomo's severely damaged goods. If the party had any sense they wouldn't touch him with a bargepole, except to push him away.
