Thinking of attempts to actually destroy ballots, fraudulent ballots and registrations. That kind of thing, separate from the things that the parties and candidates do. I think there will be more, both real and false claims. I am hoping to have a thread to keep track of them all, feel free to keep adding to the list if you hear of more.

1: 12 fraudulent votes cast in Mesa County, CO. Three were not caught in time and cannot be removed due to the way ballots are anonymous once removed from the envelope. Source, Colorado Sun. Nine were caught and removed in time. It seems like someone stole the blank ballots from mailboxes, all in the same neighborhood (In Colorado everyone gets a mailed ballot, to be mailed back in or dropped off at a ballot box; in-person voting is also allowed). No suspects listed yet.

2: Ballot boxes burned in Vancouver, WA. This is a district with a tight House race. Three more burned in Portland, OR but apparently with no damage. Several hundred ballots were in the Vancouver box but may be recoverable. https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/2024-election/ballot-boxes-set-fire-portland-vancouver-rcna177611 No suspects described yet by law enforcement.

3: 2500 fraudulent voter registration forms dropped off in Lancaster, PE. They are blaming it on paid canvassers, implying that it was just one organization:
Asked who was behind it, Schmidt said, “We understand from the county that there was an outside organization collecting registrations and submitted them right before the voter registration deadline.”
They don't identify the organization though.

4: Claims that foreigners are blatantly voting illegally just to spite the Dems. This one is just pure misinformation, the only "proof" are pics of passport covers next to pics of filled out ballots. Mostly just reusing the same ballot pic over and over again. Reddit link, which has links to the "source" on Twitter. But it seems to have some gullible people on both sides up in a lather. Destroying trust in the system seems to maybe be the goal. Trolling.

Others?

Place your bets on which party the person/people responsible for the above belong to.

We took our ballots to the post office.

Trump supporter is upset that a tent was set up for Harris and not Trump and chooses some light automobile violence.

This is obviously due to Kamala and Walz's violent rhetoric....

I'm guessing that the org in 3 is "America" PAC.

You know, depending upon the details that one might be a bit less harsh than it appears.

Remember ACORN? They used paid canvassers, and those canvassers collected from fraudulent registrations as well. ACORN flagged the suspicious ones and turned them in as required by law. ACORN was aware that some of it's canvassers had engaged in misconduct but was still required to turn in the suspicious registrations, albeit flagged for review.

And for that they were absolutely excoriated in the national press such that they has to disband the entire organization.

If some of these were flagged in a similar way, the organization may have limited exposure.

Galaxy Brain may have ordered certain activities to happen (in writing even), but he'll never order such activities by any org he controls to be exposed.

Supreme Court allows Virginia to purge suspected noncitizens from voter registration rolls

The decision, which came without explanation and over the dissent of the court’s three liberal justices, will allow the state to continue to remove certain voters it suspects of being noncitizens.
From what I gather the issue with this is with the data sources used to identify potential non-citizens who are registered to vote. That data does not get updated often enough. So someone gets a Driver's License when they are a non-citizen. Then they get their citizenship, but don't update the DL (which in some states indicates citizenship status). Then the state sees someone who's DL shows non-citizen status but that person is registered to vote and they get pulled from the list. That's fixable, but not always in time to vote.

This one could also fit in the "Election Violence" thread:

Florida teen with machete arrested for voter intimidation at polling place

An 18-year-old was arrested outside a Florida polling location Tuesday after police said he wielded a machete in order to intimidate voters.

Caleb James Williams faces charges of aggravated assaulted on a person 65 years of age or older and improper exhibition of a firearm or dangerous weapon.

In a press conference after the arrest, Neptune Beach Police Chief Michael J. Key said Williams "brandished a machete in an aggressive, threatening posture over his head" at two women, ages 71 and 54.

Williams was accompanied by seven other male teens, ages 16 and 17, who police said went to the Beaches Branch Library "to protest and antagonize the opposing political side."

Attacking old ladies with a machete in the name of Donald Trump! Such bravery! I'm sure he'll be named to Trump's cabinet.

Only a matter of time before someone is killed.

About what you can expect from their kind. Trump supporters are a cancer on this country. It's like our body politic caught leukemia. They poison the blood of the nation.

Among the MAGA terrorists a video went viral where they convinced themselves they found a voter dropping off too many ballots for a single person. The cameraman pursues and harasses the man into the vote center, demanding to know why he’s commenting fraud.

Turns out the guy was the local postmaster doing his job,

The incendiary devices were marked with the message “Free Gaza,” according to a law enforcement official who spoke to The Associated Press on the condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss an ongoing investigation.
I could see that as either the guys legit grievance, a Jussy Smollet situation, or an Anonymous source lying.

"The truth's gonna come out": Former GOP candidate arrested for allegedly stealing ballots
Police allege that 51-year-old Larry Savage swiped several ballots during a test of the Madison County, Indiana voting machines on October 3. They claim that surveillance footage shows Savage stuffing several of the test ballots into his pockets.

Test ballots in Indiana are marked as such, but can still be read by voting machines and used to cast a real vote. Indiana requires that the test ballots be destroyed after using them to test voting machines. In a video shared to Facebook of Savage turning himself in on Tuesday, he said that the "truth's gonna come out."

Looks like the 2024 Pennsylvania Presidential election results have been announced on ABC. A bit premature.

Is it your personal goal to look as foolish as possible? Look at those totals. 3,293,712 to win a national election? I think that's how many people voted the first day of early voting in Georgia alone.

Bucks County, PA

This one is a bit hard to follow, but it seems like the county shut down the in-person early voting line several hours early (yesterday). The idea seemed to be to not allow new people to get in line any more because they wanted everyone in line to vote before the close of polling for the day. But that's now how it is supposed to work, generally if you are in line already when polling hours are over, you still get to vote.

But some are claiming that the people putting up the signs to cut the line off were Republican plants, not real law enforcement. Just sent there to make the Dems look bad.

And now it seems like a judge responding to lawsuit activity from this has extended early voting two more days.

It's all pretty confusing, lots of claims and counter-claims.

Woah - it showed the whole tweet. I didn't know the new forum software did that.

Anyway, this next article seems to explain it a bit better:
https://www.phillyburbs.com/story/n...adline-on-demand-early-voting-pa/75943221007/
....the county violated the state’s election laws by not allowing some voters to use the “on-demand mail-ballot” option in the final hours of the mail-in ballot application at 5 p.m. Oct. 29. Trump and his allies are asking to extend the mail ballot registration window until the close of business today.

On-demand mail voting in Pennsylvania is a process where a registered voter can apply for, complete and return a mail ballot in one stop, rather than waiting for their ballot to arrive by mail and then returning it later. ....

Among the filings are declarations from three Bucks County voters who said they arrived at one of three Bucks County election offices between 2:40 p.m. and 3:25 p.m., just hours before the mail-in application deadline, and were “told by county officials I would not be able to request, receive, vote, and submit a mailed-in ballot and that I would have to return on a different day.”

Absent any confirming evidence one way or the other, I would lean towards Republican shenanigans or honest mistake. Democrats want and encourage people to vote, Republicans do not.

For the same reason they wrote messages on bombs during WW2.
Or for the same reason they write "blacks rules" on the sidewalks of random suburban white folks. Or why they wrote "Biden 2020" next to the anarchy A (sort of but not really) on that dude's garage in Wisconsin. Or why they write "Crips" in perfect cursive on the minivan of some random suburban whtie lady.

Don't forget carving an "O" for Obama on a McCain supporter's head.

Make sure you thank Trump for standing up against the voter suppression in Bucks County PA. There's nothing "confusing" about it according to the facts and the Court's ruling. Hugh Hewitt deserves a medal for injecting the WaPo lackies with fact and truth.
