    Trump and money

Trump brags about everything. From his golf game to his business acumen, to his intelligence to the size of his penis. Most of all Trump brags about his money. How rich he is. Trump has on various occasions said he is worth 4 billion, 6 billion, even 10 billion dollars. As recently as...

Does "Love Your Neighbor As Yourself" mean you can't have Wealth? Please explain. Thanks. ADDED: By the way - I'm not asking to argue my point of view. Two different posters MarekM and Darat alluded that it does, but haven't expanded on why they think that. I thought it deserved it's own...

I just found, right here at the JREF, a couple of topics about the proposals of the Zeitgesit Movement, specifically about their movies, reading here and there the opinions of some supporters and the opinions of some others about that it has been "debunked (a favorite word in here) :p. Who owns the Federal Reserve Bank

Since the economy has gotten our attention, I though this would be a good topic to help us all understand a little better how our economic system is structured. Factcheck.org explains it in easy to understand language.

Is money less important than it used to be?

They say that Obama outspent Hillary 2-1 or 3-1 in Pennsylvania, and maybe it helped a little, but he still lost. We can't definitively know what would have happened if less money had been spent, but it seems like it doesn't make much difference for high profile candidates. John McCain won the...

Remind me; What was the argument AGAINST the gold standard in the USA?

And yes, I have heard Wm. Jennings Bryan's 1896 "cross of gold" speech. In his own words as there is a recording of him reading it at some later time, but not live at the convention. His argument seems to make no real sense to me. Its just an emotional appeal and not really an argument at...
