When we moved to Xenfora some of the signature options didn't come over. In the old software signatures were limited by a character limit, on Xenfora there are more options and there is a character number and number of lines limit. I've set maximum number of lines to 4 and unlimited characters.

    Electromagnetism and Relativity

A question from another thread: Why would a choice of coordinates produce physical consequences? Assumption: A selection of coordinates (inertial reference system) does not change an objective physical reality. All inertial observers should agree on physics. Question: Does the transformation of...

Can geomagnetic activity affect telepathy? (Michael Persinger)

I know, telepathy hasn't been proven and I'm a skeptic on the matter as well. However, Michael Persinger posited a theory: In 1974 Michael Persinger proposed that extremely low-frequency (ELF) electromagnetic waves may be able to carry telepathic and clairvoyant information. Here is the...

    unifying gravity and electromagnetism

We are familiar with the idea that mass and energy are equivalent from the famous equation E= mc2. If mass and energy are one and the same, why do we need two different forces- gravitational and electromagnetic? As photons ‘aggregate’ into matter, the resultant decrease in the number of ‘free...

    Merged Relativity+ / Farsight

I'm John Duffield, and a few weeks back I was talking to a guy who's a member of the ISST. I was looking something up and bumped into a discussion here about causality, FTL, and time travel, so I explained why time travel is science fiction. I then got sucked into backup details that rather...

Gravity or Electromagnetism? Which will win?

Gravity or Electromagnetism(EM)? Which is stronger? Which matters most? In another topic, which is about Plasma Cosmology, whatever that may be, the statement came up again, about Gravity being "stronger" than Electromagnetism. The first time I saw that I simply checked, and EM is 1039...

    Electromagnetism Constant changing?

    Allergic to electromagnetism!

Does anyone here live in the Yorkshire Television region of the UK? Did anyone see Calendar News tonight at 6pm? They interviewed a guy in Yorkshire who claims he is allergic to electromagnetism. He claims it started twenty years ago when he bought a microwave oven, which when he...
