I am not totally sure about his scanning process, maybe you know more about it than I do. The way I understood it he used a fabricated system which is not a scanner, but a contraption which situates the film between plates of glass so that a camera can take photos of them. I have yet to see much of what he has come up with, and it was done going on two years ago in May. That's a long time to have "scans" and not be showing some sort of product. You wondered if there would be fingers visible in the film. I am guessing that there might have been. I'm wondering if for all the effort he went to to get the opportunity to see and scan the film, if it was not all the great of a result.
