Thanks, but I'm back in New York. It was just an overnight visit. Many of the books are in very good shape -- these are popular paperback and clothbound literature of the last 20-30 years. My mother was something of a compulsive book buyer; I'm not sure how much she read them in her later years. It would be great to start with those. Could the Pratt really use a large number for the sale? I'd probably need to come down for a couple of days and rent a panel van.
I'd be grateful if we could do that. Late this month may be a good time for it.
After I make some headway, it'll be time to figure out what to do with all the sewing/ needlepoint/ knitting stuff, plus fabric. My sister said she'd gotten rid of a great deal of yarn -- found a friend who wanted it.
One chunk at a time. It's a little like that Grey Gardens story.
Best, Steve C.
