" The facade was not heavy to resist wind shear. It was a light curtain wall hung on clips.... The facade was clipped to the spandrel beams which were part of a moment frame consisting of the spandrel beams and the exterior columns. There were belt trusses midway up which were likely intended to resist twisting and distortion from wind shear I believe.
