Probably, because i am fairly certain that they don't think anyone is dumb enough to think that a site that says "Make a Contribution Today to Help Defeat John Lewis and candidates like him" is a pro John Lewis site.

Further, why I appear to be alone in this, I firmly believe that no one, democrat or not, are going to be mislead by a website that says "Make a Contribution Today to Help Defeat John Lewis and candidates like him" into thinking it is a pro John Lewis website.

You can firmly believe that all you want, but such things do happen. People often skim, and this is especially true with the elderly and those with poor literacy skills. If you think that such scams are impossible, then you are either very naive or you're not being completely honest.

Further, despite the best efforts in this thread, no one is going to be able to convince me that Democrats are dumb enough to be misled. In this fashion.

Completely different, worlds different. Butterfly ballot? That was an inadequately designed mechanism that everyone had to use.

Here we have a voluntary decision to make a contribution, and that is only after you had navigated past a huge statement saying:

"Make a Contribution Today to Help Defeat John Lewis and candidates like him"

and filled out numerous details regarding your credit card.

I have an unshakeable faith in the American Public, I guess. Further, I have every confidence that if it was determined to have been done in error, that the recipients will return the money just like Hillary returned the $850,000 she got from scumball Mr. Norman Hsu after the Republicans drew it to her attention.

Sounds like the type of high school mentality that Donald Segretti and company were up to in the Watergate era with their "dirty tricks". Or Chris Christie with his outright false ads back in the 90s, which he got soundly sued and dinged for. Even had to take out a 1/4 page apology in the newspaper.
