This is oddly emotional for me. Growing up with a mother who was a staunch believer in psychics and the paranormal, I was aware of Browne long before I was interested in skepticism. Really, it was the gradual realization that Browne and her ilk were fraudulent which spurred my skepticism, which now informs much more of my personal philosophy than a disbelief in psychics. I suppose "Thanks for the critical thinking skills" is the nicest thing I can say.
