Continuation Part 5: Discussion of the Amanda Knox/Raffaele Sollecito case

While I agree the interrogation was crooked and none of this would have happened, but the calunnia occurred in the court room and it was her lawyers who didn't stop her from stating the slapping/cuffing. This opened the door for the charge I guess....its confusing because I thought the accused was allowed to even lie in Italy and be ok...

of course the insanity returned when Massei had Migninni basically investigate his own inbred polizia gestapo, and found them innocent, and then charged Amanda with even more foul play as calunnia with Maresca salivating like a wolf at the wounded Bambi.

This next trial wont include the civil crap, so at least the Migninni Puppet wont be praying to Rudy Guede so much, and the Lying Squad wont be allowed to keep people from the courtrooms with threats.

So the corrupt system allows their poster boy Migninni to bully a twenty yr old girl, and at a minimum win the Patrick charge and Calunnia charge.
Two charges based from the rotten smelling Migninni stew.
No JREF2010, the calunnia of which she has been convicted on three levels was committed on the night of the 5th-6th when she falsely accused Patrik and it would not have happened had she received professional advice as was her right under Article 104 para 1.

EXPERTS WILL PROVIDE UPDATE AND BRIEFING TO CONGRESS OF
AMANDA KNOX AND RAFFAELE SOLLECITO CASE

(Seattle, WA)– September 25, 2013. A panel of experts will address congressional members and staff on the third trial of Amanda Knox and Raffaele Sollecito during “Update and Briefing on the Amanda Knox and Raffaele Sollecito Case,” a congressional briefing hosted by Sen. Maria Cantwell (D-WA) and Rep. Adam Smith (D-WA9) at the U.S. Capitol Visitor Center, Room SVC 203, on Wednesday, October 2, 2013 from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. The trial is scheduled to begin on September 30, 2013 in Florence, Italy.

The experts will feature both legal and criminal experts. The three main speakers will be Judge Mike Heavey, a retired King County, Washington judge and co-founder of Judges for Justice, who will give an overview of the case and its legal considerations; Steve Moore, a retired FBI Supervisory Special Agent and criminal investigator, who will discuss the failures of the Italian police investigation and the evidence in the case; and John Douglas, a former FBI Special Agent, legendary criminal profiler and author of his most recent book, Law & Disorder: The Legendary FBI Profiler’s Relentless Pursuit of Justice, which includes an extensive analysis of the Knox-Sollecito case.

Also in attendance will be famed litigator John Q. Kelly, Esq., who has been retained to act as Raffaele Sollecito’s attorney/spokesman in the United States, and Mark Olshaker, a New York Times best-selling nonfiction writer, and Mr. Douglas’ co-author of Law & Disorder: The Legendary FBI Profiler’s Relentless Pursuit of Justice.

Additionally, these experts are available throughout the trial to comment for media reporting on this case as it proceeds through November. A verdict is expected prior to Christmas, 2013.

In 2009, American student Amanda Knox and her former boyfriend, Italian student Raffaele Sollecito, were found guilty of the murder in Perugia, Italy of Knox’s roommate, Meredith Kercher from England. In 2011, both Knox and Sollecito’s sentences were overturned by a jury and they were found innocent. They were released from prison after spending nearly four years incarcerated. This past March 26, 2013, the Italian Supreme Court overturned the Italian jury verdict of innocence and ordered a new trial for both Knox and Sollecito.

Just to be clear - what I meant was why you even started posting about being able to discern from Knox's writings that she was immune from fatigue related to lack of sleep.

However I think I am, to some extent, an expert in sleep issues. Not because of professional studies, but first of all because I used to suffer of sleep issues. When you are a patient, you become an expert. I think I am an expert about sleep deprivation, it's 02.47 now here.
I'm not the only one with strange sleep patters in my familiy. I have a younger sister who had the most spectatular symptoms of sleep anomalies, sleepwalkings and parasomnia; she was an extremely intereting study case, she was observed by researchers from a sleep-study center.
My relatives are also all doctors; my mother used to be an anesthesiologist university professor, she worked at the Cleveland Clinics in the US; without having chosen so, I happen to know a lot about toxicology, drugs and sleep. I never went to a doctor except for sleep, always been healthy, but when I was a child I had more medicaments in my home than in Michael Jacskon's.
In my life, then working in theatre, I learnt about hypnosys techniques, trance, body language, things of the kind. I think I may tell your "sleep deprivation" from the color of your skin, face, eyes movements, fine hand movements and many other things.
But sleep deprivation has nothing to do with Knox's action such as the hand written note, not even on the cognitive side. She was never confused, she was ambiguous, double-talking, not confuse. All what she did tells about her being lucid, awake and in control.

Do you still stand by this? (I can hear the "yes buts", and "you're taking this out of context" already.

Well, Bill. My reading of this is that he does make some claims about expertise, through experience and osmosis. Personally, my opinion is that she was exhausted. The even recorded her in the waiting room saying she was exhausted and treated like a criminal and very stressed.

I agree with Machiavelli that there was no extreme sleep deprivation. I disagree with him that there was no confusion. Even with "enough" sleep, Amanda and Raffaele had been under considerable stress, considering the circumstances.

And, from my very first post on JREF:

In The Gulag Archipelago, Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn made a list of 31 techniques used by prison interrogators. Questioning suspects at night is Number One on the list:

”Let us try to list some of the simplest methods which break the will and the character of the prisoner without leaving marks on his body Let us begin with psychological methods.....

"1. First of all: night. Why is it that all the main work of breaking down human souls went on at night? Why, from their very earliest years, did the Organs select the night? Because at night, the prisoner, torn from sleep, even though he has not yet been tortured by sleepless-ness, lacks his normal daytime equanimity and common sense. He is more vulnerable.”

Same reason they dragged Patrick out without waiting.

Well how about that? They may still be missing the power of YT and the control it offers, but this is what I've been talking about.

I now stand shoulder to shoulder with Mach in the face of this blatant racism.

PS Lorraine Kelly is a scot.

They are the best at announcing Formula One, soccer and golf. They make a nice minister of the gospel, too. IDK about morning TV shows, though.

Screen capture of the Channel 5 (UK) documentary of the Kercher murder trials. They are finally showing that the climb in through the window is doable.

In fact - Massei's argument in his 2010 motivations report was not that it was undoable, but that Rudy would never have had to have gone up to the window three times to effect his entry. Here, it clearly shows that one would only have to go up once..... at least that shows that to me.....

Dont forget the callungus charges...they are automatic.

I misread your misspelling* here for a moment, and thought to myself: "Wow, so THAT's illegal in Italy too!" ;) :D

* I assume you meant to write "calunnia"....

I thought it interesting that this was in a British paper. Did John Kercher have contacts or articles in the Sun at some point?

No, he's chiefly been a Mirror contributor in the past - although he's a freelance so could get work published anywhere if a publication bought it.

The Mirror and the Sun are the two pre-eminent low-end tabloids (known as "red-tops" owing to their white-on-red title banners on page 1). There is a third red-top, the Star, in the market, but it lags a considerable distance behind these other two.

The Mirror has traditionally been a very left-leaning paper (occasionally veering interestingly close to socialist tendencies in the past), whereas the Sun - post its acquisition and re-positioning by Rupert Murdoch throughout the 70s and 80s - is very much centre-right (though paradoxically it notably supported Labour prime minister Tony Blair for most of his premiership, and likes to think it played a big part in getting him elected in the first place...).

Because of all the above, journos tend to fall into one stable or the other - there's relatively little personnel crossover between the Sun and the Mirror. I suspect that most of John Kercher's good contacts and chums are on the Mirror, with a few on the Mail. Certainly the Sun has always appeared not to be catering to John Kercher's POV - the articles by Bob Graham are testament to that.

Hmm.... "Hosted by Senator Maria Cantwell" eh?

But...but... didn't "International Statesman and Ballerina Botherer" Peter "Fast Pete" Quennell state that "his sources" had informed him that Sen Cantwell had abandoned or even reversed her advocacy for Knox (and that this had happened after other certified oddballs such as FBN had "educated" her appropriately)???

Maybe one of Quennell's multinational battery of lawyers and experts got it wrong or was just afraid to tell the truth to the Global Chairman & CEO.

Or...... maybe one sad, lonely man in a basement fantasised a little too much for his own good....

Wow - that's the actual cottage isn't it (rather than a reconstructed facsimile)?

It would be rather interesting (not to mention powerful) to have filmed footage showing just how easy and quick it is for a young man with athletic build to get into the cottage via Filomena's window - especially if that footage can demonstrate how easy it is for such a person to pull himself up from the lower window's grating to the wide stone sill of Filomena's window without any need to use (or even touch) the wall in between the two windows.

They most certainly are.

In fact, English spoken with (most) Scottish accents is the most beautiful to listen to, bar none. After that, with a French accent (I kid you not).

Very interesting. Do I detect a bit of PR magic, possibly this time from Raffaele's new US lawyer? And the political pressure will tighten. Italy will counter with some street prostitutes talking about the joys of group sex. Or maybe The Machine can get another quick list together and tweet it to the masses.

I would almost say 'uplifting' (no pun intended) after all these years of denial of the obvious. Like I said a page or two back, Micheli thought the climb perfectly doable, a fact the PGPs tend to ignore in their slavish admiration for him.

I wonder what the supreme court said about this. Are we going to have video evidence that contradicts their "findings," just like we have pics of the cuts on Rudy's hands contradicting the supreme court's findings?

Aren't these the same guys who found Jesus, Gallileo and the earthquake scientists guilty? Not a good record.
