There were not "screams" just one and that is an important distinction. Waking up to one you would listen question what you heard and keep listening. That is why Nara couldn't justify calling police , she didn't hear fighting or screaming she heard one scream running then nothing. Nara said she hadn't heard a scream like that before, which made it stand out. As far as the noise can you hear a dog barking coming from the valley in Piazza Grimana or hear people talking outside on the cottage patio? No absolutely not the trees ,buildings , traffic noise and distance prevent that, but guess what you can hear both these sounds standing in the upper parking lot facing the cottage.It is the nature of the landscape with no obstruction, If these sounds carry up to the parking lot then a loud scream would certainly be heard through a closed window above.

Nope waited months and went on TV and then her fellow apartment dweller also remembered hearing running.

If you choose to believe her she only says she heard a loud scream and feet but doesn't know what time. She gets to pee as she does every night, hears the scream, goes to the kitchen to make a cup of tea but never notices what time it is.

CBS did a sound test using the next door apartment and they could hear anything as Nara described it.

What is amazing is watching this description of what Nara was supposed or not supposed to have heard or claimed literally evolve from post to post. This is what I call "solid evidence". Not.

Regardless, Nara still cannot be sure if it was Oct 31 or Nov 1. The police still made claims about what she would testify to, even before interviewing her.

Nara simply is not a reliable witness on those points... regardless of whether she dreamt one scream, heard screams, or whether or not the geography of the valley focussed the noise on her flat.

There are some people in this world who are desperate to make some other people in this world seem guilty on the most fanciful of suppositions.

Bill she wasn't the only witness to wake to a scream , that gives more weight . Now whether you want to focus on Nara or not you can hear sounds from the valley like dogs or talking outside the cottage from the parking lot. You cannot here such sounds sitting where Curatolo sat. That is a fact. What those sounds tell us is that the sound that carries up to the parking lot , would be impossible to hear in the Piazza. Nara's window is directly above the parking lot facing the valley.

Her window faced the valley a prolonged scream was heard by two witnesses. I hear through glass windows no problem. I can hear my neighbor playing trumpet in the winter.

Hardly a big mistake, more important that the accused were not there Halloween night by their own alibi's and Curatolo was certain he saw the men in white coats the day after the sighting.

Yep...and why not go with what Rudy Guede told us about that one scream? I seem to recall that he mentioned it happening oh...around 9:20 - 9:30 or so...like Nara he didnt look at a clock...he may have looked at Miss Kerchers phones though and both would quickly tell him the time.

So Guede by his own admission actually is present in the cottage and tells us about the scream. But you want us to forget that and go with some whack job who lived across the street...quite far across the street...who heard something (probably squealing tires of the broken car being pulled onto the wrecker bed) but who failed to look outside or bother herself to check the time...and she forgot to go to police soon after she read about the murder...most odd. Why not report what you know as soon as you realize you may be able to help?

Anything about this pattern of Toto, Nara, or Quintinvale that bothers you at all? These late comers to the witness program? That bothers me...

The gate is visible from the Piazza Mary watch the video. Curatolo only needed to hear sirens and look over the rail to see, The defendants were with other friends on Halloween and that can be verified.

But he got the day of the murder wrong. If he saw bunny suits, he might have seen them on the day after the body was found, or the day after that, or the day after that.
