My opinion it's not real is based on the content and the language used.

ETA: desertgal summarized it nicely:

I'd say that it's imaginary because it's not been uploaded. Flaccon has access to a wifi hotspot so hopefully I'll be proven wrong and it'll be uploaded without her throwing the toys out of the pram (some hope).

flaccon, how or where did you intend to upload the scanned letter from your GP?
... Tracy has scanned the GP's letter and will upload . ...
If attaching the scanned letter to a post is a problem due to file size, something can be worked out.

It can be compressed as a zip or a tar. Tar is better as it has higher compression rates and will reduce server load. 7zip from sourceforge is an ideal tool for compression.

We don't know yet that this is the content of a letter by flaccon's GP.

Yes, we do. That is not how a doctor reviews a case. Possibly you've had a doctor review your treatment in a "to whom it may concern" format. If so, I'd bet money it didn't read like the text scrappy posted.

"So and so is a (insert age here) man/woman who presented to me with (insert symptoms here). Insert method to determine diagnosis. Insert "consistent with a diagnosis of...". Insert course of treatment. Insert current results of treatment."

That is always how it works, if the good doctor is worth his training and experience.

My claim is that the spirits have recently entered in to my lap top since she requested a silent file .

Flaccon came here because she claimed that she wanted to verify her belief in these spirits and potentially win prize money offered by skeptic groups like JREF.

are you also interested in testing your claim or did you state this just as a matter of belief on your part and expect everyone here to also believe it?

If you would like to test it than what do you think would be a good way of testing it?

I suspect there is a misunderstanding or I wasn't explicit enough in my post in which I referred to "this", which of course refers to scrappy's 'rendering' of the purported letter from flaccon's GP.

I fully agree with you that what scrappy wrote does not look like a letter from a GP .... at all.

Flaccon is back at home now and wont be wasting her time like that again . There is not one lie in her evaluation . There wasd only 90 mins notice . Nothing was set in stone for Tuesday. Her internet signal was poor, hence no connections to Skype . Tracy cancelled her scrabble evening, and sent her son home .

Alderbank still has my landline but is so far unwilling to call me . Tracy has scanned the GP's letter and will upload .Even when she does upload it it will be considered a fake, that's just my thoughts .

Lies. Provide one scrap of evidence to support any one of your numerous unsupportable claims, and I'll eat my own face.

I must put the record straight. scrappy did email me a landline number and so far I have been unwilling to call him. I hope that does not mean you will have to eat your own face, Vortigern.

The rest is lies. It was me who decided against using Skype. I had a Galaxy Note phone with HSPA+. Nothing to do with flaccon's internet connection. flaccon backtracked for two days about the meeting after having proposed the time and date herself. When I phoned her I began 'Are we still on for 7 o'clock?' and she replied 'Yes of course. Would you like tea or coffee?'

scrappy, once again it is almost like you were there yourself. Instead of giving details of phone calls and meetings you were not party to, how about posting some evidence?

It appears it installs other crap on my system. If you'r not careful it'll change your homepage and search engine.

Fixed, but I won't try again. YMMV

Hmm didn't know about that - if it causes problems then I would just use the Zip compression that Windows uses. It'll be openable on any O/S anyway but the file may be a bit larger than a tar as there's less compression.

It had probably something to to with me not unchecking something, as there was at least one box I neglected to uncheck. No big deal.

Alderbank agreed for Tuesday , Tracy was not on line to confirm this . Yes , Alderbank phonend Tracy unexpectedly at app 5.30pm and Tracy agreed with 90 mins notice .

Depending on the image we could reduce it's size physically and byte/bit wise perhaps in combination with a zip utility.

Perhaps someone here has a dandy zip utility already? Or perhaps has the 7zip utility up and running?

It'd make it easier to follow you if you press quote instead of replying to the thread number. That way we don't have to scroll up and down all the time.

flaccon or scrappy,

If you email the scanned letter to me, I will find an appropriate way to post it, here.

Yeah I can compress it on my laptop. I've got GNU/Linux so it's already got compression tools preinstalled as part of the O/S.

I have posted legible A4 documents on another thread as JPEGs within the file size limitations of the forum so it can be done. However all this talk of compression algorithms does assume a certain level of IT sophistication

Not at all! The invitation was for Scrappy to provide the evidence. Your independent corroboration of a single one of his numerous claims does not constitute fulfillment of the deal on his part.

My face is safe. :D

I continue to find it telling that Scrappy presumes to speak on Flaccon's behalf as to her innermost thoughts and feelings, to recount events at which he was not present as though he had personally witnessed them, and to provide verbatim the contents of a letter of which Flaccon expressly had possession in another region of England. :boggled:
