Biblical Flood? Fish, squid, and shrimp fossils in the mountains of Lebanon and Peru

What does the evidence say?

I feel confident Pharaoh is contented with "Jesus said there was a flood, that's is good enough for me."

I believe there was a flood. It seems it could have been local and it could have been global, I don't know which. Jesus said there was a flood, that's is good enough for me.

A round of Dom for all!

Oh, absolutely.

Just as I am more than content with "Of course the story of Little Red Riding Hood is true. Hansel and Gretel swore to me on the immortal soul of The Gingerbread Man that it was so."

"Take, eat, for this is my body which is given for you to satisfy your sweet tooth in remembrance of me." And, lo, does not the first book of Grimm tell us of the global milk flood that washed away all the gingerbread people except for eight of them, who were good to eat and were therefore eaten? But before they were eaten, they gathered up two of every animal cracker and sailed away in a gravy boat.

I'm hungry.

And possibly insane.

Speaking of the immortal soul of the Gingerbread Man, here's

This post wouldn't be complete without Gingerbread Man's supreme sacrifice

Hi there, DOC,

Bearing in mind this:

6:17 And, behold, I, even I, do bring a flood of waters upon the earth, to destroy all flesh, wherein is the breath of life, from under heaven; and every thing that is in the earth shall die.

7:4 For yet seven days, and I will cause it to rain upon the earth forty days and forty nights; and every living substance that I have made will I destroy from off the face of the earth.

7:19 And the waters prevailed exceedingly upon the earth; and all the high hills, that were under the whole heaven, were covered.
7:20 Fifteen cubits upward did the waters prevail; and the mountains were covered.
7:21 And all flesh died that moved upon the earth, both of fowl, and of cattle, and of beast, and of every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth, and every man:
7:22 All in whose nostrils was the breath of life, of all that was in the dry land, died.
7:23 And every living substance was destroyed which was upon the face of the ground, both man, and cattle, and the creeping things, and the fowl of the heaven; and they were destroyed from the earth: and Noah only remained alive, and they that were with him in the ark.

Please can you explain how a local flood managed to achieve this?

Thank you.

7:20 Fifteen cubits upward did the waters prevail; and the mountains were covered.
A cubit is a bit over a foot, right?

How exactly did this cover any mountains?

The bible talks of a worldwide flood. Could marine fossils found 700 meters above sea level be evidence of that?

I believe there was a flood. It seems it could have been local and it could have been global, I don't know which. Jesus said there was a flood, that's is good enough for me.

DOC, this admission that the bible is incorrect shows real growth and development on your part.

Well done.

ETA: Also using "could have" rather than "could of".

Wiki says the Mesopotamian cubit is around 18 inch and the Egyptian a bit over 20 inch. So 15 cubits would, at the most generous, be around 7.50 meters.

How exactly did this cover any mountains?
These ones maybe? ;)
