Explosion at the Boston Marathon.

CNN is reporting that they have him cornered and that they're firing some tear gas to try and smoke him out.

Well, someone was shooting at the cops. No idea who it is yet.

In a boat in a back yard.

ETA: just saw an ambulance heading to the scene on a live feed.

Agreed, though doubtful that he will. It seems they're pretty hell bent on killing. Unless the guy is naked and has his hands empty, he most likely will be shot.
 
Anyone able to give a foreigner a tip for an american news outlet that isn't simply speculating and saying nothing worthwhile?

Been watching CNN's broadcasts from time to time during the day, and it's been nothing but BS.
 
They played audio of the gunfire exchange -- a lot of echo, but it sounded like 20+ shots.

They're still at it.

It's really close to the area of last night's battle -- I wonder how he could have escaped detection. (Both last night -- how he got away, and then all day).

It's in some kind of boat repair facility, they're saying, on Franklin Street.
