That's got all the trial documents, but none of the attachments, unfortunately -- such as the original medical record for George and Trayvon, which I'd like to directly peruse as while snippets get quoted here routinely, context can be key.

Oh well. I'll keep diggin', though I find it intriguing that all the early docs have 404ed while many of the recent ones are still live.

If you are talking about GZ legal - they moved documents around and did a poor job of it, so yes it seems like some are 404.

I'm still under the impression that there is still time to file for immunity, sans the hearing. I'm not sure who was still holding onto the idea that there would be a separate hearing. I've heard or read a number of times that O'Mara would "roll" the hearing and trial into one event.

Because then, all the perils that prevented O'Mara from having a separate hearing magically disappear!

Elvis, I asked in the context of Rare Truth's post of the defense claim that the money was all gone. If the diverted funds were not put back into the defense fund then the defense is distorting the truth.

Not all, just some. Actually, I'm not sure if the burden still remains at the "preponderance" level at the jury trial or not. After all, I believe it's still the judges call, if there is indeed an option to make that call at the trial (which those educated on the matter seem to believe there is), so perhaps she'll still base her ruling/judgement, if it comes to that, based on her assessment of whether or not the defense has reached the preponderance burden.

It's my understanding that the prosecution has to disprove GZ's claim of self-defense beyond a reasonable doubt, but I'm not sure if the judge's burden level changes as well.

I honestly can't blame her for this. She's incorrect, in my opinion - of course, when you're recorded running after a stranger, and are then found with a gun, over their shot body between two sets of houses a few minutes later, a trial is in order.

But George is her child, after all. She presumably loves him, and would sacrifice to see him succeed in life, (and likely already has). I'll never judge her for defending her son.

I have no issue with judging ConservativeTreehouse harshly. Their conduct, from dozing random people they thought were related to the case, to their laughable claim that Tracy Martin is a Crip based on him wearing a red shirt, to their hyping of right-wing racist memes, to their embrace of Andrew show that they're full of resentment towards minorities in general and black people in particular.

At this point, I couldn't care less what they purport to find. Let Zimmerman's lawyers make the case.

Perhaps Zimmerman didn't know it was his money, and no one has explained that to him yet.

If he were using money donated to Paypal for the purposes of his defense for "not his defense", this would be relevant with regard to impeaching his credibility as a witness.

Obviously there are a wide range of uses that would qualify as "for purposes of his defense", so I don't expect this to be a big deal unless he did something moronic like "weekend at biloxi gambling" with it.
