Continuation: Discussion of the George Zimmerman case

Well it might be inconvenient for you, but the case swings on the nature of GZ's injuries. He was not "savagely beaten" as his supporters claim. He used disproportionate force to end a confrontation he started. Bye, bye George.
Having heard, and still hearing for a year now words like savagely beaten, pummeled, punched, broken nose, black eyes, deep lacerations, concussion, flooged, hammered, thrashed, near death, a bloody terrorist (yes, I've heard TM called a terrorist) assault where he was "one punch away from being spoon-fed for life," a head slamming violence it was necessary to kill the brute inflicting such horrors - that picture brings a real reality check that Z supporters become very uncomfortable about quickly.

Have you noticed?

So you don't know that he actually was NW captain, and you don't know that self defense doesn't require proportionate force.

Oh, and who can forget this gem from early on from his first pretend lawyers:

"shaken baby syndrome."

Oh, that was rich.

You're the one spinning the nature of his injuries, and if you don't think they will be a major factor in the trial, you are deluding yourself.

As to the "NW Captain" crap, when you are not recognised by the NW governing body, you can imagine that you are, but in fact you aren't.

Then you and your fellow George supporters need to quit trying to sell people on the story of how poor George was so savagely beaten.

I'm glad to know that somehow you've decided I'm accountable for anything that someone you deem a "George supporter" does. Quite convenient for you, I suppose. You don't have to address my actual arguments, you can just fling whatever **** you happen to be serving to everyone else at me, too.

You're the one spinning the nature of his injuries,

Really ? Quote ?

and if you don't think they will be a major factor in the trial, you are deluding yourself.

And your legal credentials are ?

As to the "NW Captain" crap, when you are not recognised by the NW governing body, you can imagine that you are, but in fact you aren't.

So, I guess when the RATL newsletter refers to him that way, and the SPD refer to him that way, they are both mistaken. But YOU are correct. I see.

It was politics that led to the grand jury being skipped in favor of an assured charge.

Someone from the Wolfinger's office (can't give you the name right now) made a statement in the record to O'Connor that they didn't want to bring it to a grand jury because they were afraid they would indict.

Did you forget that?

George and his defenders then packpedal into some story about how Trayvon saw the gun and "went for it", and that became the 'fear for his life' moment.

You act like we just made that up. It's from Zimmerman's account. It isn't based on nothing.

I want you to consider something which may substantiate that claim...

if Zimmerman was just ready to kill this kid for no good reason, as many of you claim... why let himself get beaten for a minute or more before defending himself with the firearm? Why wait until the cops were closer to arriving, and potentially every window around them had a neighbor staring out of it watching exactly what took place? Why wait until at least one neighbor had DEFINITELY come out and seen what was going on?

And why settle for just one bullet, risking a scenario where Trayvon tells the police some interesting things from a hospital bed?

Perhaps something about what was going on out there in the darkness really did change, and change substantially to make him use his firearm. Perhaps it is exactly what he describes, Trayvon noticing his weapon and making a threat to use it, and/or grabbing toward it?

Frankly, given the fact that self-defense can be legal even if you have only sustained one punch, or even if you haven't been physically harmed at all... I think George was pretty generous and patient with Trayvon to give him that long for his conscience to kick in. It's a pity it didn't.

I'm not uncomfortable with it. I just find it obnoxious to keep reposting the same image in support of the same fallacy over and over again.

So you guys keep posting it, and I'll keep calling you out for how ridiculous it is.

And your legal credentials are ?

Huh? You need to be a lawyer to post here?

I'll stick to my confident prediction that the nature of GZ's (superficial) injuries will feature strongly in the trial. And I'll remind you of this ad hom dismissal of yours.

You've put forth the 'brutal beating' argument too, just like your fellow supporters. That's why that pic upsets you so much. And every time you post up some repeated babble about George's beating, I will post up the pic you hate.

Deal?

Oh, still waiting for an answer to post #9250.

By the way, neighborhood watch "Captain".

That's like being the principal of a home school. But whatever.

I'm confused. You jumped from the "of course there is a neighborhood watch program of which GZ is a captain:

You seriously can't be this daft. I believe Rare Truth showed you this before.

And the clincher:

ETA: Rare Truth beat me to it.

To denying there was a NW program now ?

Of course not. Did I claim that somewhere ? *looks around*

Just wondering why we should care about your opinion on how the legal proceedings will go if you're not, and you have done nothing but make a assertion with no argument to back it up.

Read for comprehension much?

I'm LOL'ing at the title he had, not the existence of a NW program. But nice try.
