Continuation: Discussion of the George Zimmerman case

1. When he starts the call, he is at the clubhouse and describes Trayvon as being at Taaffe's house, and walking towards him.

just a minor nit here, you cannot actually see Taaffe's house from the clubhouse.

Can you answer my questions so we can move on ? Unless the goal is to get the thread moderated by baiting me by implying I am a racist and stirring everyone up by turning everything into a race issue ? Because if that's the goal, it seems to be working.

Bait's don't work when the fish aren't biting.

He was living with Uncle Stephen and aunt Miriam Martin, according to Tracy Martins sister.

Start at 1:55 minutes in, you hear Tracy Martins sister say TM was living with his Uncle. Tracy was living with his sister.

Oh, they seem like really nice people.

So remind again of George's relationship with his family? And his rentier situation? I understand his finances were in terrible shape and he was flunking out of school.

I think it's just the wording used.

He was dialing as he was driving past him, and it was at the Clubhouse he got through, and TM was walking towards him.

At about the 3:40 mark:

just a minor nit here, you cannot actually see Taaffe's house from the clubhouse.

But we know he spotted him there (as per his story) so we can time how long it takes to drive from Taaffe's to the clubhouse and pick up from there. In the walkthrough it's less than 20 seconds, isn't it?

3:48 he says he spotted him up by Taaffe's by the grassy area.

He says that Trayvon passed him at 4:50.

Then he says the dispatcher asked him what direction he went and THAT'S why he pullout out.

"And I said I don't know, because he cut down here and made a right, and this is TWIN TREES LANE" at 5:00.

Note here. The next day, he clearly knows the name of the street. Like magic, I tells ya.

;)

But anyway, if you listen to the NEN call when the dispatcher asks him "which way is he running", he's already at the T since he jumps out within 3 seconds.

There's no way the circling of the car happened. It's a material lie.

Yeah, great people and all. Why do you think he wasn't he living with his mother or father ?

Tell me about all the black witnesses I don't believe ?

Tell me where I said I believed witness 8 was an impostor ?

Tell me how not living with either of your divorced parents is perfectly normal ?

ETA:
Oh yes, and why did Crump or Witness 8 lie about her age ?

Begging your pardon, but there are very many people in this world who live apart from their parents, willingly and otherwise, who grow up perfectly fine.

#EDIT: Eeeh, in retrospect, I'm really picking nits, here. I'm reading way too much into what you're actually saying, so I retract my remark, but will leave it up.

For posterity, here are the two videos. First, watch this one from 3:30 to about 5:40.

[Here's a hint for any amateur vidiographers out there. If you put your camera on a small tripod and then hold it lightly by the stalk just barley above the balance point it will act like a steady-cam and give you acceptably smooth video even when running.]

For the first half of that video, there's not much he could have gotten wrong. He could have taken the sidewalk on the right hand side of the street instead of walking down the middle of the road. This sidewalk then jogs up to go between the parking area and the clubhouse going under the awning of the clubhouse (this was in DeeDee's statement and I wasn't sure what she was talking about then). The author then finds the path beside the clubhouse that goes through to the mailbox area. This is where George indicates Trayvon went in his walkthrough.

The author then makes a bizaar claim: that George drives on to the tee and Trayvon starts in that direction but then doubles back and starts running towards RVC. This is exactly opposite to what George indicates in his recorded phone call where he says he's running towards the back entrance.

Correct. That's why I suggested ignoring that part. I only point to how fast it takes to walk from Taaffe's house to the clubhouse, and how his walk perfectly matches the NEN call. From that point on, we can easily see how it's impossible for Trayvon to have made it to the T, ran behind the row houses, returned to circle the car, and then run away again.

It didn't happen, and that makes George a liar.

What does this have to do with the fact that Geroge Zimmerman persued, shot and killed an unarmed teenager who was doing nothing wrong and had a right to be where he was?

But I believe phonebook is trying to claim that George didn't call the NEN until Trayvon walked all the way to the tee and behind the houses, then came back out walked all the way back to the clubhouse, then circled George's car and only then does George get through to the dispatcher.

I get that. I'm saying that the walkthrough proves that's not true. He clearly describes where he was when he called, where he was when he got through, and when he parked, and when he backed out to continue following his victim.

We know exactly where he was because he told us.

I believe we are saying exactly the same thing. This is not surprising since we primarily started with the same evidence.

And we know that's not how it happened, at least not according to GZ when he did the walk through the following day. I guess I'm not understanding the purpose of those who want to rewrite the sequence of events in a manner that is inconsistent with GZs own story. You and unaboogie have it pegged based on the audio provided.

Yep. He clearly does. He is driving past him, spots him, and dials. He gets through right away, because he pulls into the clubhouse when he's connected. At that point, he starts describing his victim as coming towards him. And then he says "he's coming to check me out". While he's saying that he's still at the clubhouse, because he says that "which way was he running" was what made him pull out.

Wow, you are going to be reeling when this trial starts. You're in complete denial. He's toast. He just made stuff up and it's going to be ugly watching him get flayed on the stand.

Don't paraphrase. Don't handwave. Don't do the cheerleader schtick. Quote it.

I imagine there's a good reason why you haven't provided the quotes Cylinder has requested?

No, I'm claiming that GZ pulled into the clubhouse before he began dialing the non-emergency number. While "trying to get through", Trayvon passed him (while he's parked at the clubhouse), and "looked into his vehicle". While GZ is still "trying to get through", Trayvon walks past GZ at the clubhouse, and cuts through near the mailboxes, which is where GZ first "loses contact", or visual with TM. GZ exits from the clubhouse and continues to look for and/or follow TM onto Twin Trees. At some point between when he leaves the clubhouse, and where he ultimately ends up parking his vehicle (or even after that point), on TTL, near the T, is when GZ finally gets through.

At this point, TM has already walked behind the houses, where the T area is, one time. I believe when GZ gets through to the NEN dispatcher, TM has returned from behind the houses on the southward extension of the T, at 0:41 - "He's here now... he was just staring, looking at all the houses", "now he's just staring at me" - 0:58 "Yeah, now he's coming towards me". This is when TM begins to approach GZ, parked on TTL, to circle his car - 1:21 "He's coming to check me out"; 1:27 - GZ starts raising his (I assume) driver's side window (which he mentions in interviews); 1:29 - We actually hear a third voice, which is likely Trayvon saying something to GZ (a die-hard GZ-hater, Trent/stateoftheinternet says this is when TM asks GZ "Do you have a problem?" - Link, so you can be 100% convinced of GZ's guilt and also hear/believe that TM spoke to GZ before GZ got out of his vehicle).

TM never returned to the clubhouse after he got to the T area.
