Vaccine/autism CT discussion

Yes, it is psychology -- as the *********** name of the site says.

Which has nothing to do with immunology, which means it addresses neither your continued inability to point out a single flaw in the paper you were given nor the topic of this thread.

But *does* gather actual data, from people who have had children *clinically* diagnosed with autism -- and aren't relying on people whose only qualifications are being a Playboy Bunny or wanting to sell a competing product.

Do you really think *anyone* with more than a sixth-grade level of reading comprehension is going to be fooled by your hand waving?

This, of course, eliminates your 10 y.o. medical expert from consideration...

Wow. Let's see. Whose children would be likely to receive every vaccine under the sun?

The refuse collector's children?

The day care worker's children?

The mail-person's children?

I can't figure that out.

Could it be a power couple with a plus 300k salary and mega medical benefits?

Leave it to Baron-Cohen to make up a preposterous whooper.

Well, I think you will find all those kids will get all relevant vaccines in most, if not all, countries.

You do realise how vaccines work? "Herd Immunity"?

not sure if its been mentioned yet but there is an article on autism origins in this month's Scientific American

Thanks for the heads-up!

...Wow. Let's see. Whose children would be likely to receive every vaccine under the sun? ...

CM, here's a question back at you:
Whose children would be likely to receive every autism test under the sun?

ETA:
When two technical-minded individuals pair up, their children may inherit genes for useful cognitive skills, as well as genes involved in the development of autism.
Furthermore, high levels of testosterone in the womb may play a role in the development of both technical and autistic minds.

Clayton, you seem to have dropped the vaccines-SIDS argument (there were responses to you on p65 and you haven't answered them) and the HPV discussion (you didn't answer the responses re Haug's claim on p66).

You haven't replied to the posts replying to your inaccurate claims (that there is an insistence that vaccines are absolutely safe, and that the media crucifies anyone making a connection between vaccines and autism) regarding vaccines and autism, that you repeated on p65, either.

Oh, and the discussion on pneumococcal and Hib vaccines seems to have ground to a halt too.

Do you accept that your claims regarding vaccines & SIDS, HPV, claims of "absolute safety", media crucifixion and the dangers of pneumococcal and Hib vaccines have been refuted? Is that why you've dropped those discussions?

Since you didn't notice I was pointing out the idiocy of trying to validate an idiotic possible link to the cause of autism, the mating of very intelligent people, by soliciting anonymous information.

Oh, I noticed.

1. What does that have to do with the multitude of claims upthread that you seem to be unable or unwilling to continue to defend?

2. I note your new-found enthusiasm for skepticism towards self-reported data submitted to websites. I trust that this will not be limited to a single instance and will apply to, for example, VAERS data. (You can fill in a report with a false name and bogus contact details on VAERS, by the way - I just checked this myself.)

Why? Are all respondents liars? < /CM Mode >

That thought appears to be incomplete. Do you want to finish it off? It would be unfair to ridicule it until then.

"She understands, she doesn't comprehend." - Firefly.

Mark my words, Clay will be making the same claims in a month or two. We recently pointed out that rich people can afford more tests, IIRC, but that doesn't seem to have sung in.

It shows the studies, those the vaxer zombies blindly rely on, should be taken with an extremely tiny grain of salt.

So a study, or even news that a study is being considered, is support for your cause, but not those of debunkers?

What, all of them? Including those with completely different methodologies to the one you're criticising?

Clay has a tendency to lump all of his opposition into a single category, whether people or evidence. I predict a dodge of the question.

Unlike the huge grain of salt one should take when a ten-year-old says "vaccines caused my autism"?

Where can I see the 10-year-old's scientific research and data? In what scientific journal has this been published?

Face it. You're all beat. Common sense wins. Vaccines cause all kinds of maladies. Autism, asthma........ Paralysis, seizures, GWS, SIDS...

All became rampant with the proliferation of vaccines.

All because yoooootoooob and a ten-year-old say so. That's a winning argument.

Of course. None of those existed before widespread vaccination. Autism didn't exist, asthma was never heard of. No one was ever paralysed, never any siezures, I can say without fear of contradiction that there was no Gulf War Syndrome before the Gulf War, no child ever suddenly died as an infant.........
