2012 Debates

As long as Obama keeps it on foreign policy, he has the upper hand. Romney is in way over his head, which is why he tried to divert the debate to economic issues.

Obama just crushed him on the navy by the way.

UGH cnn.com had a seizure right before this. What happened?

Romney claiming that we have less ships than we did in 1916. Obama replied we also have less horses and bayonets, and it should be about capability, not numbers.

And that this isn't a game of battleship where you count ships. :)

Damn. Only one thing to say to that...

Romney really needed a good showing tonight and I really don't think he's gotten it.

Any Republicans disagree? They've been very quiet so far...

I was curious what the freerepublic posters think and they aren't too happy with Romney's performance tonight so far.

Well, I agree with others... Romney is not nearly as confident in this debate as he was in the others.

Oh and Obama just said "Bob, let me respond... nothing Mr. Romney said is true."

Hilarious.

AND

Obama just hit him hard on Romney's business ties to China and Middle East oil.

There's two reasons for that:

1. They know their man is getting a massive beat down, and

2. they're waiting for their talking points from Fox News

:)

Romney got a little fire back with his apology tour follow-up, and Obama didn't really counter it well.
