What we need is a substantive discussion. Acting like a troll you didn't respond to any of my premises. Instead you fallaciously appeal to presumption and ridicule like a 3rd grader in the sandbox.

I tend to be more pessimistic. The people who post here are atypically well-informed. I also post on my local newspaper's board, and find that the majority are not informed and generally just repeat the standard crap that floats around the blogosphere (it's amazing how many times people post claims that the Reagan and Bush tax cuts INCREASED tax revenue!). I really don't think that the majority of Americans are interested enough to actually do any fact checking. I buy into the claim that 10 percent think, 5 percent think they think, and 85 percent would rather die than think.

I wouldn't say he's "down" to it. For this clown, elementary school rhetoric is a step up. I've no doubt that its usually a bunch of short grunts and monosyllabic sounds.

Actually, I run a very successful abortion mill for welfare recipients with my gay-married husband. And in our spare time, we teach children how to burn bibles and turn repurposed guns into decorative flower vases.
