Full faith and credit have nothing to do with Sheriff Joe's investigation of a crime. The state of Arizona has given recognition to Hawaii's Obama birth certificate, presuming it to be valid. Thus, there is no violation of the full faith and credit clause.

This is fractally wrong. Sheriff Joe, as an official within the State of Arizona, is equally bound by the Full Faith and Credit clause of the Constitution to any other official of the State. By continuing to question the validity of the birth certificate, he violates Full Faith and Credit. And if he does not question the birth certificate, then there is no possible line of reasoning by which he may conclude that there is a crime for him to investigate. So he is either knowingly wasting public money by investigating a crime he personally knows not to have taken place, or violating the requirements of the US Constitution.

Added that for you. The Hawaii secretary of state has certified that the information contained in the PDF matches what is on the official record of Obama's birth. Even though he has taken steps to do so, it is not strictly required. The certification of Obama's birthplace for the purpose of eligibility in a federal Presidential election was accomplished using the certified paper copy. The FEC is satisfied that Barack Obama is eligible as President. No other organization, official, or jurisdiction has standing at this point. Therefore any investigations to that extend, with the goal of challenging Obama's eligibility as President, are automatically moot.

While it wouldn't prove Obama was born in Hawaii, it would prove that the long form PDF file released by the WH was not a forgery.

As of this writing, the JFK thread appears to be open again although there has been no official announcement to that effect in the thread.

I tend to interpret Robert's arguments here the same way. Clearly, from his major gaffes, he has not read the thread nor is he familiar with the facts of the arguments, such as the all-important fact that Hawaii has explicitly certified the birth certificate. His demonstrable willingness to put forth arguments without even a modicum of factual correctness suggest an "any port in the storm" approach, and that affects my decision whether to engage him.

Conversely, I have asked you several questions here and pointed out several points of fact and law that you have addressed only by insubstantial denial. Before you try to crow about your imagined successes elsewhere and make veiled personal digs, please address my arguments.
