Nope, it's a full key and FOB in one.

Does anyone know the exact year of his Honda Ridgeline?

That's the regular key. Presumably GZ left that in the vehicle, as he seems to say on the phone.

I was talking about a remote start fob.

However, the genuine Honda remote start fobs are nothing like what's in the crime scene photo.

I have since found a photo of a Ridgeline key and it matches the crime scene photos.

So I wonder what keys GZ was talking about?

FWIW, I keep my house keys and car keys on separate key rings. This way I don't have to carry around the car keys and remote fob when I go out but I'm not driving.

George said it, so it must be true.

Am I missing something, or isn't it pretty standard for SUVs to have a remote on the keyring that lets you leave the car running and locked while you go off somewhere?

Some do, but not standard at all. I had a 2008 Trailblazer a few years back, and it didn't come with a remote start. I added it.

Reference please?

The one that I see in the evidence photos matches the one linked 100%.

So does this one.

Both are a FOB-Key combo.

Most people know if they are that afraid, THEY DON'T GET OUT OF THE DAMN CAR !

The only time he legally has to be afraid of TM, is at the moment he pulled the trigger. His feelings toward TM, prior to that, seemed to be caution, not fear and are completely irrelavent to the self defense claim.

Yes, I already said the CS photo matches a Ridgeline key.

A Honda remote start would be an extra fob.

That he left in the truck? Possible. Could that explain the ding of the vehicle we hear on the NEN call? Quite possibly.

Could it also have been the headlights? Sure. The 2006-2010 headlight switch for the H.R. is identical, and doesn't appear to have an auto headlight feature as a stock item.

I don't think that is what he says, but it's possible.

Maybe he is wandering around the T, looking for the key? (That would rule out the small light being "on" then)

The tapping sound could be GZ trying to get the black flashlight to work. IIRC, it didn't work.

If he has already dropped the key at the T, then it means he was at the T earlier than supposed...

Interesting.

Certainly plausible. He said in his walkthrough that it did not work, so that could be the tapping sound we hear.

But, if he's tapping his flashlight, he has the key, as they're on the same key ring.

"It's me behind my truck."?

Man, now I want to know what he said!

"Let's meet behind my truck."

I think that's it. Fits in and makes sense.

CNN did a voice analysis and concluded that what he actually said was, "I am going to run that [derrogatory term] over with my truck."

:D

Sorry, but IMO if you tell a burglar (that's what Z thought he might be) "Hi, I'm from the neighborhood watch" he's most likely going to say something like "yeah, *******, what are you watching ME for, I'm gonna **** you up!" and most people know that.

That would be a mugger not a burglar, you haven't known many criminals, have you?

Apparently you know a lot of strawmen however.

This sounds true to me because the reason Z found M suspicious is because there had been break-ins by young, black males.

I'm sorry, but I think approaching those kids in the woods instead of just calling the police is the same thing people have been condemning Z for.

Why?

Did they apprehend young black males, or just what exactly?

How many young black males committing break ins had been committed and reported?

Exact sources please.

Many break in had been reported, yes, where exactly is the source for who was the perpetrator of these break ins ?

No references to 'somewhere in the thread', where is your source of data.
