Ed Rob Menard's FOTL Claims

Wait, there's a difference between FMOTL and Sovereign Citizens?

Practically speaking? No difference. Its just that soverign citizen woos in the US tend to have a bit of a more shared mythology where they believe the federal reserve bankrupted the government, and the "real" government has not been seated since then and is just waiting for sovereigns to step in (they call the actual real government the "de facto" and act like they can overpower it by electing themselves to "de jure" offices - its all total myth).

Thus soverigns in the US have groups like the Republic for the united states (note the for, little u, and little s) where they "play government" and elect themselves as congressmen, senators, etc.:

The U.S. nutjobs, where the scam originated and from who Menard copied it, also tend to have an unnerving interest in guns and bunkers... stockpiling food ...camouflage gear etc.

You know, the typical Alex Jones fan.

Some of them even kill police officers.

The Canadian nutters are more like wannabe-sovereigns, but lack the guns and intelligence.

The British ones are just a complete joke.

This appears to the source of Menard's scam.

I couldn't help but notice at the bottom of the Star article you linked were a list of similar articles... The first article on the list is: "Canadians falling through the cracks when it comes to mental health"

Yup, makes sense.

Definitely related! Sadly, those are Menard's key constituents when he has a new scheme to promote.

I'm surprised.

All the Newf's I know have way too much common sense to fall for this.

Wonder when ACCPHQ is going to end up in Nunavut?

I do not know many people from NF ( okay i have met a decent amount, but for purposes of the joke, just go with it.), but even the folks i hear about in the "Newfy" jokes, would be much smarter than the average menard follower.

( for those unaware, NF is the joking capital of Canada, take any Blond joke, or other kind of derogatory humor, and change the titular characters to Newfies , and you have the premise, literally.)

So theres no charge for the new venue, but get this

What no refund??? :jaw-dropp
Thats going to go down well

Rob kills me with his doing things that i realized were bastardly when i was in high school.

This is just like when we ran a LARP ( VTM) group, and we had an area that we had to pay. Everyone pitched in, and all was good. 2 bucks a night, no big deal.

Now after we moved locations we continued this trend, until we discovered that no one was being charged for the venue and the person collecting the money was just pocketing it.

And this was at age ******* 18, what exactly is menard's excuse for refunding all the tickets?

It is essentially a piece of paper with “consumer purchase” written on it that can be exchanged for goods and services when signed by the purchaser.

Inmates! Housemates! I know you have a grudge against the rich because they sleep later. The time is ripe for revolution.

Jampton:
And so saying he wrote the word 'dinner' on a slip of paper and swallowed it.

Seagoon:
Ahhhh! Delicious.

Willium:
Oh mate, it makes me mouth water. I wish I had a bit of paper with 'dinner' written on it.

Seagoon:
I'll do better.

FX:
Quick scribbling

Seagoon:
There. Swallow that.

Willium:
Cor! Christmas dinner! Yum yum mate.

Seagoon:
Yes. Remember citizens when I'm president all those bits of paper with the word 'dinner' on them will be honoured.

GRAMS:
Nurenburg rally.

Seagoon:
Thank you lads. Settle down!

What does it say when Menard's woo is SO bad that even the woo's don't like him?
"The Queen is a lizard, planes are spreading Chemtrails to poison us, the NWO runs the world, Colloidal Silver cures cancer.......What..., Rob Menard..nah thats nonsense, the guys a kook."

De-lurking to add this story from my local paper.

http://www.independentmail.com/news/2012/may/30/sovereign-citizen-tries-claim-cliffs-home-sunset/

I love that in South Carolina you can be charged with "attempting to intimidate law enforcement by using a sham legal process."

Have to give 'em a warped sort of credit for going large:

The home he allegedly attempted to seize is a five bedroom, six-and-a-half bath, 10,000-square foot waterfront retreat on 3.5 acres in the Cliffs Keowee Vineyards community.
That is a kook with the courage of his convictions, unlike a grubby conman we might name.
