Trayvon Martin, Vigilante Justice

I'm not disputing that, but look at how the record reads. Two separate charges, and two separate instances of the word closed.

Therefore I find it is bad form to only talk about the 2nd one for 60 some odd pages and then me finding out about the first one almost by accident.
Only 60? That isn't even a record

It's all over the news in the alternate universe he posts from. ;)

So this is not a part of the case? He did answer my explanation on the difference between details and a presumption, by usuing a presumption as evidence against a detail?

You mean the one who is tainted now, and won't be allowed into evidence because of the Sanford Police? That one?
She impeached her testimony, not the SP.

No, a wound is in the police report. As is a bloody nose. Nothing about it being broken, and nothing about a fat lip either.
A "swollen lip" is in the police report. And police don't diagnose broken noses, doctors do.

http://rollingout.com/culture/george-zimmerman-son-of-a-retired-judge-has-3-closed-arrests/

it should be noted that the article (linked above) claiming 3 charges has been updated with this:

And I'm taking credit because this is what I wrote to them:
OK so one arrest, court ordered diversion, one incident while working security, one vehicle cross complaint, dropped, one DV mutual service, expired and IIRC something about butting into someone's argument in a restaurant?

Could be just a string of bad luck, could be a pattern ofbad behavior and good excuse making skills, hard to know at this point.

On your 'context'...

Even in the most extreme instance, such as the victim actually being one of the burglars, there is zero evidence that Zimmerman could have known that, could have reasonably believed that, or could have reasonably used it to decide his life was in danger.

Where are you getting this information? At no point did Zimmerman claim he got into a "shouting match" with Martin, and then decided to head back to his truck.

You're right, I was taking that from the girlfriend's statements, but those aren't corroborated. I forgot the source.

Still, I think it's likely that it will come down to the same question I outlined.

Yeah, just keep bringing up the 2nd charge. Even if it was a reduced charge, that is what the whole article was about. Whether or not he gets charges reduced because he was the son of a judge.

There were 2 charges. Whether or not they are from the same incident has nothing to do with the fact that he was charged with:

RESISTING OFFICER WITH VIOLENCE BATTERY ON LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER
You know another reason charges get downgraded? When there's not enough evidence to convict. It happens all the time, no matter who your father is.

You said she didn't see what happened. She doesn't need to see for what she claimed so that is irrelevant.
If that's the case Randi has $1 million waiting for her.

Really, who is more likely to sound like a "little boy," a 140-pound 17-year-old high school student, or a 250-pound 28-year-old man? She also had the police contradict her statement by telling her it was Zimmerman, which as has been pointed out, has tainted her.
They both have their adult voices. And actual eyewitnesses say Zimmerman was the one screaming for help.

Which is the logical thing to do when someone you don't know stares at you, follows you in a car, obstructs your path, then gets out of the car and chases you on foot when you try to run away. It's quite reasonable to conclude at that point that you are going to have to deal with that person in one way or another. And again, it is not possible to have a physical confrontation with someone who is running away from you unless you physically pursue them. And when you are chasing someone who has committed no crime, doesn't know you and is running away from you, you are the one provoking confrontation.
Really? So now you're claiming you can actually attack someone who's following you?

A photo would certainly prove whether he had a broken nose (as opposed to merely a bloodied one). Broken noses are...very conspicuous injuries.

I brought that up some time ago. If he had, what I understand as a normal broken nose, at the scene; he would have been in severe pain and bleeding profusely.

It sounds like the lawyer took him to a doctor the next day that was very generous with the term.

I'll skim this quickly even though it's not relevant to Zimmerman's guilt. Even if these were perpetrated by black people (I see it mentioned there were just black men "spotted nearby")...this doesn't justify shooting any black people you see, being reasonably threatened by the presence of a black person, or aggressively pursuing, confronting and killing a black person who is trying to get away from you.

It's common to offer a reduced charge in exchange for agreeing to some kind of intervention or rehab program.

I linked the article from where I read it. The article quotes a conversation between Zimmerman's attorney, Craig Sonner, and Anderson Cooper.

This concerns me because it wasn't until his lawyer began speaking publicly that the, "he went for my gun..." part of the claim, appeared. I assumed that his lawyer was citing that from the police report. Hearing he hasn't even read the police report makes me step back a little bit. I may be wrong on when the fight for the gun, aspect appeared, though.
That interview was on March 23, when did Sonner become Zimmerman's attorney?

article adding some context surrounding the altercation

Zimmerman’s Twin Lakes Community Was on Edge Before Trayvon Shooting

George Zimmerman called police 46 times in the years before he shot Trayvon Martin. As far as the cops were concerned, that wasn’t excessive in a neighborhood fighting petty crime, reports Amy Green.

-snip-

Conversations with several residents, however, suggest that Zimmerman’s calls reflect a wider feeling of concern and distrust in the community. For years, Twin Lakes residents had been on edge—demonstrated by their decision last September to start a neighborhood-watch organization, which was initiated by Zimmerman himself~~~~~~

Is it time for a WTF? Last September? Five months?

Looking less like an experienced Captain of the Watch and more like gung-ho rookie.

the dailybeast article is not posted to vindicate or justify anything Zim did in this incident, it's posted to give context of what the community was going through, and I think makes Zim following of Martin more understandable. Maybe not right but understandable.

For proving that she can hear someone screaming nearby even if she can't see them? I can do it too. How much are we going to bet on this? You and me?

They both have their adult voices. And actual eyewitnesses say Zimmerman was the one screaming for help.
Actually here's an eyewitness who says that she KNOWS it was NOT self-defense.

No, I'm claiming that it's reasonable to confront someone who you don't know who has been staring at you, following you in a car, obstructing your path, speaking about you to someone on the phone, then gets out of their car and chases you when you try to get away from them. Furthermore, when you have done nothing wrong and don't know them, the person following, obstructing, and then chasing you is the aggressor who has initiated the situation and is escalating it.
