Occupy Wall Street better defend its identity

The eagerness, the self-righteousness, the denial, the crudeness of propaganda, the overlaying smell of helplessness. A pleasure to watch the AuthoriTards panic.

What a wonderful description of the OWS protests.

retorts like this remind me that the abysmally far right is composed mainly of callous, ignorant individuals of obviously lower intelligence.

And yet, it's the left-wing protests that keep turning violent and criminal.

You have a strange definition of compassion and understanding, my communist friend.

A few thoughts about the upcoming removal of the occupiers in Portlnad:
-Closing the parks from midnight to 6am is in no way unconstitutional and does not interfere with anybody's rights to free speech and peaceful assembly. Same could be said about our 10pm noise ordinance for that matter.
-The city ordinance represents the democratic will of the people of Portland
-The majority of Portlanders seem to want them removed, whether or not they have a liberal or conservative background (88% according to online poll)
-The occupiers wish to subvert the democratic will of the people with the use of violence
Occupiers gear up

The thing that concerns me the most about the whole OWS thing is that it seems likely that someone is going to get hurt when these things start getting broken up by the cops, as they inevitably will. I hope it doesn't turn into a Kent State moment.

Another day, another death:

Hours after a man was found dead inside a tent at Pioneer Park, Salt Lake Police Chief Chris Burbank announced Friday he could no longer allow camping in the park or anywhere in the city.

"We can no longer have individuals camping on our streets," Burbank said. "We as a city just cannot tolerate this going on."

Burbank asked members of the Occupy Salt Lake protest group to start packing immediately and to be out of the park by sunset Saturday. The ban on camping overnight also includes the Gallivan Center, where a group was recently moved after setting up camp near the Federal Building.

Occupy fever: Catch it and die!

So does this mean you're a conservative, then? Do you support the Tea party, incl. their views about "less government, less government, less government"? (Wouldn't mind hearing responses to this from some others here too)

I'm sure my "hate fest", whatever it is, is not less effective than the Occutard movement.

Really? Think about that statement again.

"fest", a celebration, short form of "festival".

People are demanding a peace dividend, after a decade of politics of fear. Osama is dead, there's no excuse for continuous draining of wealth from the populace to the financial and military industrial complex. It's as simple as that and your quips here wont change anything. You're part of the 99% as well, join the celebration.
