I've said it before and I'll say it again. I think that Ted Simon may be the massive unsung hero behind the appeal strategy. I think he probably made a huge difference to the quality of Amanda's legal representation for the appeal submissions and the entire appeal trial.

She does look shell shocked. She's thanking everyone who supported her so I guess that includes many of those in this thread.

I do think JREF manages to come to the correct conclusion on things like this. This thread is definitely going to be a record holder in many areas.

Those disgusting misanthropes on .org are making some truly nasty comments about the press conference. They really are despicable human beings at times. Shame on them.

THAT was an innocent woman speaking.

Slowly, the world will realise you were never guilty - have a great life, Amanda!!

xx

I truly hope some of those misfits get their come-uppance.

Disgusting vermin.

PS this is my first (well 2nd) post here as I have been banned from both TJMK after 1 (admittedly rambling) post and then PMF after only a couple more. I assume thats happened to everyone else?

Not everyone :D

For the record, a passenger on the plane says the second level of the 747 wasn't closed off, she was on that level with the Knox family.

ETA: make that two passengers

You're right of course. It was moving and saddening to watch. But I'm sure that some reptiles over at .org or .net will claim it's an incredible acting job or some such thing, or that Knox is crying because "the enormity of her crime has started to hit home". Horrible.

From P** SB

I knew Hellmann was a specialist in civil matters rather than criminal, but I didn't know Zanetti was too. This is troubling on a couple of levels: not only in terms of competency but also because Seattle and Perugia have a sister city relationship, which means business ties.

Also, Giuseppe Leporace, who teaches at the University of Washington and did some correspondence courses with Knox while she was in prison, is also an honorary vice consul.

Hmmm...

What does SB think civil judges do?
