halides1, my congratulations on a very well researched, interesting and relevant article.

Alas, I had assumed that the mixed blood claim had originated with the prosecution and that appears to not be exactly correct. The prosecution seems to have suggested that mixed blood was a likely possibility but one of the jurors seems to have interpreted the testimony to indicate that mixed blood had been proven.

It sounds like the author of the book, Darkness Descending, may have been the individual most responsible for promulgating this spurious notion. It is interesting the way false information can take on a life of its own that transcends any information that contradicts it.

Also, I can refute Pilot's POV about Marriott first hand. I am a former employee of one of the most influential US TV netorks. I worked there for 3 years, at a comparable level to Marriott's employment at CBS. The people currently employed by that network have no interest in what I have to say about anything today. Why would I have influence over them when I no longer work there? It's rediculous.

Intersting user name.I love it. It's the name, in poker, that we use , for a person, who sits and sits, waiting for a winning hand. unfortunately, way too often, it loses.

If the Court of Appeal found Amanda Knox and Raffaele Sollecito innocent of involvement in Meredith Kercher's murder, would that verdict convince you too of their innocence?

If it would not,
may I ask what, if anything, would?
