CIA threatens "Press for Truth" producers over release of new documentary

It (not a cover-up but criminal negligence at the very best) can be narrowed down to those who did the executive work, so to speak. The bigger fishs Blee, Black and Tenet are already implicated and named, from many angles. The cover-up was done by the "investigators".

Quelle surprise. Then why ask for evidence? Do you seriously expect me to not only deliver information on a silver plate but also to re-narrate it in a foreign language to people who aren't interested in it in the first place?

A lot of rich Saudis were at a falcon hunt in Afghanistan. There was some suspicion Osama Bin laden might attend. If they could have confirmed his presence there might have been an opportunity for an missile strike but they couldn't so there wasn't.

It had nothing to do with his "network" being watched or not.

What's confusing to you about that?
 
It is possible that identifying these 'analysts' and what they said, wrote or did, would also cause covert agents of the CIA to be identifiable and THAT would contravene the Act.

For eg. an analyst reads a report by a covert agent in which the agent describes a conversation with someone connected with terrorists. If this information is released that 'someone' will now know that a person in the room was CIA.

This is a great example of what I was talking about in this post. 67 posts in the thread, CE denies what she said in the original post. In doing so she render the entire discussion moot. Conversation with these people is futile.
 
Part 1 was released today as audio with transcript. The names of analysts "Michael" and "Frances" are redacted, at least for the moment.

Kinda odd that CE is all charged up about a couple people on the plane that she thinks got hijacked before it flew an impossible flight path, and ended up flying over the Pentagon while at about a 75 degree bank.

You'd think that she would be more interested in the "real perps" like part- time cab driver and full time agent of evil Lloyde England rather than "future hijackers, Khalid al-Mihdhar and Nawaf al-Hazmi".

I'm guessing she's realized the irony finally and will stay away from this thread now, or she'll return to hand wave it away simply as "interesting".
