Has Anyone Arrived in Vegas Yet?

I'm already getting excited about my arrival on Thursday afternoon, and I need to vicariously experience the first part of the week - so please share!

Yeah, I've been here since Thursday the 7th, for non-TAM reasons. It's over 100, thunderstorms (so far mild) every afternoon. I'm down slightly on video poker but up on free booze.

I don't get in until wednsday 4pm. I wish I had arranged to be there sooner. But I got cheap airfares so can't complain too much.

We'll be there Wednesday about noon. We are driving, but plan to stop in Flagstaff for the night (Tuesday night) and then continue on.

I'm about to post my TAM9 "Digital Guide" and I'd like to double check if my info on WiFi rates in the hotel is still correct. (In other words: they haven't changed since last year).

Could you fire up a WiFi device and look at the login screen to check the rates, both in the guest room areas, and in the convention area?

There are two different sets of rates, last year it was:

Guest rooms: $12.99 per 24 hour period per device.
Convention area: $24.95 for 2 hours and $89.95 for 4 hours.

(No, that's not a typo)

I just confirmed, those prices are still valid. There's also complimentary wifi in front of the hotel registration, but I wouldn't recommend it as your primary option.
